Jmax5000
Recently i noticed that my frond end sits like this- /---\ I know I need a new center link, but there has to be more to it. Possibly ball joints? Thanks
mws
That's the view from the front, right? Let me guess, stock UCA's, right? The camber change is due to the suspension lift. Rough Country UCA's will correct most of it.
Simon
Even at stock height, though, it will do that if the CL is shot. Mine did. Definitely though, get it replaced (go with L&..you'll never have to buy another one) and get it aligned. Also, check your upper ball joints, and tie-rods for play. Jmax5000
No i don't still have the stock uca's-- I have the Rancho ones.... and my tie-rods seem to be fine, how long a job is it to replace my ball joints? is there any special tools i might need? And how long should it take? thanks for the input... its appreciated
Simon
Upper ball joints are pretty easy. You may need a ball-joint puller, or pickle fork to get them out of the spindle. Really, should be an hour job, for both sides. Sometimes, tapping on the side of the spindle where the ball joint goes through will help loosen them up.....but I always use a ball joint puller.
