I'm not entirely sure what's next on the todo list, I'm not feelin' a really big project, like a suspension lift or something, more something in the $100-200 range cuz I don't want to spend a TON of cash that I don't have. =) Any ideas?

Yeah, I was considering a body lift but I dunno how long it would take me, some people say its easy and some people say its tougher than a suspension lift. =) Any other ideas?

Not really. =( Welding work around here is sketchy at best... I'll be moving to college next year so there should be someone around there that can make some... so that's on the back burner for now. =)

Three of us lifted my buddy's 95 Dakota in a day. A whole day. It really wasn't that bad of a job. The only snag was that we had to find a welder to weld an extension onto the shifter lever, which on a sunday wasn't very easy!! Also he had sprayed all the frame bolts with a liquid wrench type substance everyday for a good week before the job, which made the whole thing a snap. Get a case of beer...it'll ease the pain and make things seem that much easier!!! -alcohol-

good mod

there engaged at a flick of the dial, not like the autos thake take a bit to engage. as well as not having a mind of their own

however you do have to get out the vehicle and engage them by hand

would highly recomend em

I'm not contradicting you here, but couldn't you theoretically leave them locked and then have 4WD when you shift into it? I'm not saying like lock em while you're driving around town, but before you start on a trail lock them so you don't have to do it in the middle of a mud puddle or something. =) Or does it not work that way...?

Anyways, sounds like a solid idea to me, I think I'm going to go with some. :D

So you don't even have to worry about having them unlocked during normal city/whatever driving? Does it affect them at all since there isn't any power to the wheels if its not in 4WD?

well technically your right, but when theres no need you should unlock em

if you leave em lock the diff will be turning over = more wear and tear on your vehicle and also slightly less mpg
