Question about body lift.

Now I`m ready to install 3`` body lift on my 1992 Terrano (Pathfinder). I never did it before, but i think can do it. But there is one problem. My car have automatic transmission. So I don`t know what to do with transmission lever. What I need to do? :confused:

my understanding is they are cable operated, so you wont have a problem

 

someone correct me if im wrong

you wont have to do anything with the tranny shifter ... but you may have to bend the transfer case shifter and/or notch the floor out to accomodate it ...

Yup. True. Cable shifted auto tranny is no problem with a 3" body lift.

Can you please do some kind of write up on the hard bits you found and the problems and solutions you came up with??

I keep thinking about doing a lift but then wuss out.

 

I worry about stuff like radiator mounts, what happens to the brake lines to the master cyclinder, the fuel lines to the engine bay etc.

I wonder if there are any specific things that may couse problems with the diesel set up.

 

I would really like to hear how you got on!!!!!
