Major tune-up

I did a major tune-up ,plugs {Bosche Platinume 2} new plug wires,rotor, distributer cap,fuel filter,oxygen sensor, pvc,. Now I have a miss . Help will be greatly appreciated.

That's why I tend to do things in steps, rather than all at once... replace the rotor and cap and make sure it all still works... replace the plugs... make sure it all still works, etc., etc. With as many things as you replaced, it could be any one of 'em. =) I assume you've already checked everything and made sure your connections were secure and so on and so forth; beyond that I can't really give you any advice as far as troubleshooting the problem goes.

Something's probably loose. Check the ground wire connector on the distributor, the wires for the mass airflow sensor near the air filter, re-check the plug wire connections, and last but not least, did you gap the plugs correctly? Silly question, I know, but I had a friend that had no idea and had never gapped any plugs when installing them on any vehicle, and he had owned more than one car...hehe.

 

How bad of a miss is it? Mine has the occasional stumble at idle, but when it's in gear, it doesn't do it. I can live with it rather than throw money at it trying to get it to run perfectly...

could be any of the things you replaced. go over your connections etc... make sure they are the way they are supposed to be/were. Is the distributor cap on straight/tight...? are the plug wires snug in place? are they crossing? did you knock something else loose while doing the tune-up? that could be unplugged or ...
