sigtauenus
I have a 98 Pathy, and left the car trailer unlatched while unloading it... meant for a nasty scrape across the back of the liftgate as the weight shifted, the tongue of the trailer went forward and up... Anyhow, I've been looking around at the local salvage yards, and not too many Pathfinders of any kind to be had. Also looked on ebay and don't see too many there either. Guess we are collectively a good bunch who take care of our cars and don't wreck them often. Any ideas on a good place to get a used liftgate or an aftermarket replacement? I shudder to consider dealer cost if its even available still. TIA, Sam
NismoSkyZ
Check out your local body shop for a near-oem replacement, or you can go to Nissan Only Wreckers at www.usednissanparts.com Edited January 1, 2007 by NismoSkyZ
tmorgan4
When I emailed Nissan Only Wreckers their prices were extremely expensive. It's worth a try since they have lots of parts, but they're way more expensive than if you went to a normal junkyard. Check www.car-part.com first. What color is your Pathfinder? There are a few in the yards here.
DJ Dank
Where are you located at? There's a JY in Eastern Washington that is huge and they have quite a few R50's. http://www.spaldings.com I did a quick search of their inventory and looks like they have 4 of them. But they're not cheap...but compared to the dealer, I don't know.
t0ast
As stated earlier, nissan only wreckers has a salvage one with the rear end still intact: http://www.ninfiniti.com/index.asp
