Cruise Control

When I bought my 95 Pathfinder a couple of weeks ago, the seller said the cruise worked, but doesn't. The switch on the dash lights up when turned on, but nothing happens when I touch the set on the steering wheel. Is there a fuse somewhere I need to check? All the fuses under the dash are good. Thanks

Well, checked the infamous vaccuum line on the cc, it was torn on the end and loose so i cut the end off and put it on. Nice and snug, but still doesn't work. I'm on my wat to the parts store to get a new hose, it looks pretty dry-rotted......CROSS YOUR FINGERS 4 ME!! (I could care less about the cruise, lol, just bored during my holiday time off....can't hit the trails till I get my CV boots fixed -alcohol- pssd

Hmmmm... if that hose is dry rotted, you should consider replacing ALL of the original hoses under the hood.

Perchance has your pathy spent some time parked in a garage in which there is a refrigerator or freezer? Refrigeration compressors generate ozone which accelerates the degradation of rubber.
