GAC
I have a 1991 Pathfinder SE-V6 with an automatic transmission. The issue I am having is last week I noticed when I floored the accelerator the power light would come on and after a couple of blocks it would automatically turn off. Since last friday if I floor the car the power light turns on but won't turn off until I shift the car manually to another gear. I tried reading the error codes from the auto computer but the power light never lights up. It turns on as soon as I turn on the ignition, 2 secs later it turns off, I follow the routine but it never lights up again. any help is greatly appreciated. 88pathoffroad
It's supposed to go into Power mode when you floor it, then after you don't need it, it should turn off by itself after it shifts to the next gear or when you get to a constant/cruising speed. RI_ChevyGuy85
i've noticed that happen on the highway a bunch of times. usually it turns itself off, other times while i have cruise control on goin up a big hill it kicks into power mode and doesn't go out of it. just flip the switch on and off and it'll go away
