Thinking about getting a body lift on my pathy... either that and tires or just the tires not exactly sure yet. I was thinking about putting a 3" Body lift, would just like the pathy to be a bit "bigger" really and of course then I can fit a bit larger tires in there.

 

So I'm kinda new the whole idea of lifting a car and everything, and since I couldn't find just one topic on here on "all about" body lifts, I figured I'd just make my own topic. So if you guys can, just need all the info I'd need about putting a body lift on my car like:

Additional Parts (aside from the kit itself)

Big changes or problems coming from a body lift

How hard is it to install? (I'm not exactly the biggest mechanic there is, seeing as I've only had my license for a little over a year now...)

With a 3" body lift, how big of tires can I/should I fit on there? Or would 31's still be enough and look alright?

Where would I go to get this lift kit? Do I have to order it online or are there stores somewhere I can order it from? (And if you have any specific sites where I can get a body lift kit)

 

And I guess any other info you have on the subject...

The biggest tires you can fit is 32's, 31's would look good.

Also be sure that it includes the longer bolts for the back. That is about all i can tell you though.

Tons of previous coverage = search. (sorry, had to beat them to it)

 

Search long ago, there are many posts by 88Pathoffroad, Statikuz and me (Mr. Pickles) along with many others.

 

For your 95, you'll need the AC (4x4parts.com) kit, or you'll need to source the 2 rear most bolts on your own. Other than that, the kit comes with pretty much everything you'll need. The instructions are lacking, but do a lot of research and searching on here, and be sure to post up any questions. Many of us have done the install, and can help you out quick. :type: :aok:

they also have the TM lift now for the 90 and up models.....(considering there is basically no difference, i believe the difference was just in the rod ends on your steering....and they charge a whole hell of a lot more for the 90-95....)
