WRL69
I had posted about the hot floor under driver and rear passenger seats in my 93' Pathy. The problem continuous. That hot floor zone is just over segment of exhaust between the cat and the muffle (including them). Heat shields good, cat and muffle are good (dont clogged), no leaks, flange-gaskets good. But many hot radiation in that segment. Temp indicator between normal point and 1/2 point. I don't know what can I do. Any suggest, please? :sniff: Regards, Edited November 1, 2006 by WRL69
yozsi
either you are running to lean, timing too advanced, misfiring real bad, runbing too rich, or your cat is clogged/going bad. or all of the above.

jgt
hi, same problem with my 92 XE 4x4. Mine in manual. Any ideas so far?
Kn0xville
uhmm, i think its normal. My 93 and my old 91 had the samething. My tcase shifter gets so hot in the summer that i can barely hold the steel arm part of it. If your feeling alot of heat coming in on the inside, check to see if the outter rubber boot for the tcase shifter is still there or torn. And maybe theres a hole under your back seat, or anywhere else.
