Bumpers

I've got a 94 XE with the flat black bumpers which have not faired well due to rust. I'm interested in finding a front and rear chrome bumper from an SE at a wrecker... am I okay with the 1991 to 1995 model years in terms of being able to do a simple swap?

I have a chrome rear bumper off a 95 on my 88, if that helps. They all fit from 87-95.

rears may, fronts dont.

 

93/94 nissan changed the design of the front bumpers as well as bumper brakets. all bumper brakets can be swaped, as long as the corrisponding bumper is swaped too.

Okay, so if I take the brackets as well, then it sounds like I'm good for more than just 93 and 94?

Bumpers/brackets were changed, frame mounts didn't. They will swap, but the valance/air damn part on an older (86-92) Pathy will not work with a newer (93+) bumper.

 

 

For me it has always been easiest to remove the 4 bolts at the frame that the braket mounts to, than the 8 bolts that hold the bumper on the braket.
