Headlight

I goofed up and shorted my foglight switch, now my pass. side headlight doesn't work. I have tried a good bulb and that doesn't fix it. What is the common factor between the two? What am I overlooking?

i dont think anything b/c i cut out the fogs in the 95 swap...and then spliced in high temp sockts...maybe its 2 coincidental events

Is it the Bosch-relayed fog light setup with the yellow, black, green and purple wiring? Cause those are totally separate from the headlights, as far as I've seen. Do your fogs turn off when you turn the high beams on?

Maybe a stupid question, but I'll ask anyways. Does your Pathy have daytime running lights? I have an issue with my DRL module that causes one of my headlights to stay off for a while, then I go give the pass. side fender a tap, and it comes on. I need to bypass that module.

 

Just a thought anyways.

It does not have DRL, yes the fogs turned off w/ high beams, and I don't have the fogs on anymore nor will I be utilizing them again.

Sounds like there's a intertwined wire in the steering column or under the dash somewhere you need to fish out. D'oh.

Hey Simon, my DNRL was doing the same thing and I took the module apart and fixed it. It was just a cold solder.

 

I'm in Ontario for two weeks for work, too bad I'm spending the weekend in Windsor and not Mississauga like I usually do, you could have brought it to our shop and I could've taken a look at it for you. Maybe next time I'm down I can give you a call and take a look at it.

I just realized that my hi-beam indicator doesn't work either :oops:

You did check the fuse right? I don't think both headlights are on the same fuse.
