ordering RC UCA's but a shock question 1st

I finished the rear suspension upgrades (3" lift and rancho 9000's)

I am now ready to order UCA's RC more than likely; but I am also ordering replacement rancho 9000's for the front. My torsion bars are like new, I just won't crank them any higher until I get the UCA's (2.5" now)

I searched and got a ton of info but;

should I order the longer rancho 9000's as I am lifting 3"?

Would a rancho steering stabilizer help the steering drift?

If not what about the L&P Level 3 steering upgrade? (with bronze bushings)

Just want to get ready for winter wheeling in the Northwoods!

88 how do you like your L&P and how do I find my proper taper to order?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I want to order right the 1st time!

Thanks Again & Again!

Mike

You should order standard front size Ranchos. The length of the shock needed in the front does not change on the front end. The rears can be longer however.

Steering stabilizers help ease feedback from the steering, absorb impacts and assist in keeping the truck going in the direction you point it. Overall it should make some improvement to your steering.

With or without a stabilizer the L&P Steering Systems will improve your trucks steering... especially when you consider the mileage you have on the stock stuff.

And abut the RC UCA's have you read the tread regarding them? Make sure you mention the NPORA... it often gets people a good deal :aok:

I can honestly say that when I put my SS on I didn't notice a difference, but I think that is because I have to much play in the front end due to the lift and I also may need an alignment. However, I wouldn't take it off. It's real cheap to get and I bet once I get my stuff straightened out, it will be awesome.

i noticed a difference when on the dirt.. but i have a problem with not getting all of my steering range due to the SS hitting the CL of the Calmini steering system. it binds before full lock. don't know if the other aftermarket steering systems will do the same.
