Rear Hatchglass vent

Guys I wanted to do a mod I saw on here about 1 year ago.

 

Someone had made their rear hatch glass pop open and catch just far enough to let some fresh air through the cab of he vehicle.....

 

I have searched for over 1 hour and can't find it....

 

the only other way to look would be to chase down all of 88's comments, since I know that he was the first one to say something positive about the mod...

 

HELP as this is a super sweet mod and I really want to try it!

Do not the Q's have a remote release for the rear glass? Maybe those parts would work (if that is what you want to do?)

The QX4 has a rear glass release. The actuator is actually built into the latch itself. All you'd need to do is swap out your latch for the QX4 Latch and toss in a momentary switch to energize the actuator.

I contructed a Screen in the back of my truck out of the same mesh most have on their patio doors... I used this when I go camping so I can sleep in my truck at night hehe... the pathy is my mobile home sssh
