What do u guys think about running 2 1/2 in. pipe strait off the cat out the back

Are you saying you just want to run the pipe only, or with a muffler? Straight piping sans muffler, it will be LOUD and raspy. 2.5" pipe is a good size for our engines.

I think that it would improve my Backpressure alot but i dont think that it would sound that bad

Im gonna have them straight pipe it to the back in the same position as the stock one was

If by "improving backpressure" you mean reducing it, you would be right. However, without a muffler, I think that there would be too little backpressure and you would actually lose performance. For my engine, I know that the largest pipe you would want to run with a muffler is 2.5, any larger would have a negative effect. Without a muffler, I'd imagine that a smaller pipe would be required. But if you want it loud, straight pipes sans muffler would do the trick.

I just got my exhaust finished at 4:30 today and its great

I had them put a flowmaster muffler on and run the exhaust out like the original one was it sounds mean

oh yah For Backpressure!

there is alot more power comming from the 3.0!

I wouldnt mind doin that either I just got to check how much it is and see how Im gonna fit that in with me buying my shocks, wheels, and tiers. I might have to wait a while!

Remember that engine breathing is a two way street. The K&N Cone filter intake or similer type is just has important as a good exhaust. Combined, they make a huge difference in over performance and sound.

There are local shops (Bucky's in the S. Puget Sound area comes to mind) that will do a Flowmaster installed for under $100. Mine is 1 1/2 yrs old and awesome, good tone and punch with the K&N also.

I do have the regular K&N air filter and i did the Throttle body cleaning method too man was it clogged i took a tooth brush and kept scooping out black crap.
