It's still not done but I started it tonight while on the stands and ran through the gears. It was quite loud since half of my exhaust was still off.

 

Still left to do:

Adjust t-bars (sits like a lowrider right now)

Recheck all fluids.

Add tranny cooler

Add Oil gauge (since an idiot friend broke the sender wire)

Adjust shifter linkage

Mount remote filter (It's wiretied to the fender now)

Wait for new wheels and tires

Flex this puppy AGAIN in Dad's ditch!

Yeah I have the camera there and have taken a few pics but I don't want to bring it home yet, I'm affraid I'll forget to take it back for the first flex test.

 

BTW testing with jack it looks pretty good so far!

Glad to see u got it out of the car and installed without any issues

It only took about two minutes to get it out of the car. Dropping the old tranny took about 5 days (2-3 hours in the evenings),yet took about 3 hrs to get back in.

 

UPDATE:

Took a test drive today everything worked great! Still waiting for springs and wheel/tires. Hopefully she'll be ready for some light trail testing this weekend.

It's a utility pole anchor with the anchor end cut off and ground to a chisel tip. My rock bar.
