thats a pretty good price shipped. I think i paid about 125 picked up in person from their headquarters in El Cajon, CA

ha ha
ive got all custom lighting now... Nissan Terrano JDM headlights with HID and city lights, and custom plug n play HID in the fog lights... all wired to work independently from eachother and also wired to turn off when i pull the key out... i love it!!!
-
dont be silly we all know 01silva is a pavement pounder!!
you could probably rig up a heatshield with some sheet metal but it would take some work and im just way too lazy
-
i have the jim wolf intake i like it
no problems with the MAF sensor... if it DOES get dirty, just clean it... our MAF's dont fail like they do in 4runners
overall power you wont feel anything. you might feel an increase in throttle response however - it's snappier.
the noise is cool though

are you guys BS'ing i thought this was a big joke

Meh, to a degree. But this mod is actually much easier than it looks. It's just a matter of taking the time to do it.
in all the years ive been on these boards, i have never once seen or read about a rear disc conversion on an R50.
-
i had problems with cheap rotors matched with 32's. Brake fade, very long braking distances.
now got brembo rotors and 31's, it can lock them up now.

hey guys,
im about to go to a buddy house and install KC lites on front bumper,
what tools are we gonna need to take the front bumper off?
star driver to remove fog lights, is there bolts behind there? and does anybody remember what size?
-
you can change your nameto maXEdpath
-
i would do compoenents in the front and 2ways in the back. In fact, thats what i currently have in my QX4
with amped components up front, you dont even need rear speakers... it'll just give a little bit of "rear fill" for a fuller sound
and yeah run a small 4 channel amp, like tmoore says, clarity is king
-
cool, if you're running a 275/70, a 255/70 will get in there just dandy since it'll just be a slightly taller tire, but not wider. thanks!
actually the 255/275 is width while the 70 is the height.... so you got it backwards... that tire is wider but not taller.
-
i just pop the plug wire back on. theres no specific way
BUT
there is a notch in the firewall right directly above the #6 plug (the notch is there for the nissan spark plug tool, included with your spare tire tools, to fit) you can look at that notch and just put the plug wire directly below that, you cant miss it.

So custom coils don't need to settle?
?? i must have been drinking when i wrote that. For some reason i thought you were researching AC coils...
-
Has the rear had a chance to settle? Seems really raked. Well, I guess its good if you bring a lot of gear on the trail, then it works out great. Still looks good though. I want an SFD so bad, damnit...Can't wait to start this second job to save!!
Jose
he says earlier in this thread that he made custom rear springs.
ome vs ironman... what the hell is ironman??

00 qx4 not sure maybe its similar?

not sure about the studs on yours, but the WARN studs are barely flush with the tops of the nuts once torqued down. if i used the stock studs, there wouldn't have been enough thread to hold onto the stud.
maybe the difference between the 1G and 2G R50s are a little different in that sense, i don't know. plus, it'd be much better to have slightly longer studs, anyways, so you're certain that the nuts are completely threaded on.
thats odd.... mines a 99.5.... the nuts are definitely on all the way, i even have about two or three threads of the stock studs sticking out!
-
And BTW...someone deleted their post in this thread wherein they might owe you $100 via Paypal??
I saw that too. It was alexrex20.
-
whoops i didnt see the sway bar part
-
the stock studs are plenty long enough for warn hubs - no need to remove to put aftermarket ones in. Plus this makes the job quick and easy!

yeah youre not missing much. its just a warehouse and office in a hot part of town (100 degrees F there today) also a crystal meth kind of neighborhood.... they had a bunch of nissan Z's with weak turbo kits... the only plug was that they have a few beautiful women working in the office
