Up hill both ways, in 4 feet of snow with no shoes? hehe It does blow my mind the lack of respect a lot of kids have these days. Although, I get on the road and drive to work, and am apauled by the lack of respect adults have for one another. Sad times.

Are we closing our eyes and imagining, or are ya gonna post a picture! Is it done, that depends entirely on you and your wish list!

I think I'm in love! They're starting to get a few aftermarket toys for the 05's... and more to follow I am sure... as for a first year truck, our Xterra is a first year (2000), and I have heard it was the best year out there - and not just from my husband... heh!

DAMMIT ALL TO H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS!! My light came on this weekend. Bugger!! No idea why. And today, on the way home, it decided,,, meh, maybe not... and now it's off... ???

*jealous of the westcoast scenery* nice shot of the waterfall

I have a 99.5, but I assume it's the same... I removed those two screws from the bottom, and then you just pull the rest off by hand... the top half is held in by metal clips.
-
take pics & whatnot when you do it... I may end up doing the same... my tires stick out a bit more than I was anticipating.

Very true, a couple guys from the X Club shared the expenses on getting custom brackets made to fit the ARB on the X with the 3" Body lift... cost them $500 each. (CDN) yikes.
-
True enough Precise... when my hubby's old Civic was rear ended, he took it to a shop to get fixed up, he didnt have it back for long when magically someone had broken into it & stole all his stereo equipment... he is sure it was the shop.

Welcome to the club! I cant say whether the Shrockworks bumper will fit... usually I would say with the right amount of fabbing you should be able to do it - but I cant remember how much the X and the pathy differ once you have the bumper off... I also have no idea where the shrockworks bumper bolts on to the X.... ARB makes a bumper for our trucks (99.5-2004), but it's mega bucks, and quite heavy. TJM makes bumpers for the 96-99, which isnt supposed to fit on the 99.5+, but we'll have to see about that... (2 weeks!) Although, I am not so sure about the availability of the TJM. I looked into all these possibilities last fall when I removed my bumper à la Honda Civic. It's unfortunate more companies dont make stuff for the R50. My husband was talking with Jim from Shrockworks about making sliders for the pathy, but he says it isnt high priority, I suppose not enough interest (I can only assume the answer would be the same about the bumper). We have the shrockworks sliders on the X, and I would LOVE to have a set for the pathy.

I didnt really follow that thread, as I was new at the time... what type of image were you trying to get? I believe is was a photo of Jim's truck?? Were you planning on reproducing as a photo, or were you going to do an effect so it was solid B&W? I could likely create a solid B&W effect from a lower res file... (no promises...)

Last summer I figure it out at about 16 MPG on my 99.5 Which was what they averaged for my truck.... thats City & highway driving everyday. I was getting close to 500 km a tank (I think, this is going by memory - something I'm not good at) Over the winter that went down hill, about 400 km per tank, and just as it was warming up & getting better I went and modded the hell out of it, and I'm stuck at 400 km a tank again.

Probabaly your best bet is to check out SOXC and watch the events section for runs... (more pathy's on the board too! hehe... we get picked on sometimes, but I think Ive posted before, its mostly from former Pathfinder owners!)

heh, I still have yet to let my dad know we lifted the pathy and are offroading it. Yeah, I'm 30, and still afraid of my dad! haha... He's pretty cool about us wheeling the X, but I think he's mostly just being nice about it. I can only hear the signs, and see the eyes rolling from here tho...

*tear in her eye* *runs out and hugs her pathy* nuthin like the truck you love, no matter how run down it is to others, it's still your baby! I cried (and can still get weepy) when I got rid of my old truck. The sales person advised I dont ever get pets if I'm going to get that emotional over a truck.
