  1. i think it would help out alot with keeping the air flowing...the vents on the back are shaped to create a vacuum and suck the air through the cabin at highway speeds..but right now it only fogs up for me while on the highway..when parked its able to defrost itself in no time...its -38 celcius with the wind chill here right now so motivating myself to go investigate further is pretty hard..
  2. No sorry with the blower on any setting I can't feel air coming through the rear vents on the exterior of the truck..ill have to take the interior paneling off and investigate if theres a blockage
  3. Blower on high and I can't feel anything from the vents...ill investigate further when i get home..
  4. With the cold temperatures we`ve been having im forced to deal with my age old nemesis...defrosting the windows on my terrano....for work i have to do 10 hour+ drives routinely and driving with the air conditioning on, full heat, full defrost and just barely being about to see out my side windows makes for a miserable drive..my terrano gets up to temperature no problem and stays there but im wondering if theres any modifications i can do to force more air through the vents..also the vents on the back of my terrano seem to do nothing..im talking about the vents behind the 3rd window..should they be sucking the air through my truck or letting fresh air in..will be switching to rubber floor mats to see if that makes a difference... Thanks!!
  5. Just wondering how you go about advancing the injection timing...my terrano needs a bit more power!! Also does anyone know the size of the crankshaft pulley bolt so I can adjust the valve clearance... Thanks
  6. The stock turbo is a hitachi ht12-1a on my 92..no idea what kind of boost pressure its running.
  7. I had the same problem so I started taking the intake pipes off and noticed a significant amount of oil and sludge buildup downstream of where my pcv valve enters the intake.. removed turbo and intake manifold and cleaned them both out and bought a new pcv valve and a catch can in hopes of solving the blow by problem...i guess this happens at 29:1 compression...good luck
  8. Im having this issue aswell.. 100kmph is 3000rpm and 120 is 3500...way to high for me!! I do very little 4 wheeling and mainly highway commuting and i'm wondering what are some good options from nissan i can use for a lower gear ratio...Ive seen a few companies selling a 4.11 r200 option but id like to save the$500 and get a nissan alternative??? any suggestions??? for a td27t manual terrano aswell.. Thanks

  10. Does anyone know the crankshaft bolt size and also the where the timing marks are?
  11. Hello my td27 turbo is blowing oil and I was wondering if anyone can identify the turbo so i can buy a rebuild kit. Thanks!
  12. Hello, just browsing through the site and found another td27 owner scraping for info and thought this would be a good resource for my terrano. I had a grey 92 terrano with just over 72,000kms. I owned a 91 vg30 pathfinder before and fell in love and the diesel is even better!
  13. Care to share the info...been searching hard too!
