exactly what JJ said.. i ordered my SW's from summit racing... said the year and everything.. they sent me 3/4 ton chevy SW's... i too have 28 spline which SW don't even make them for! I ended up getting the MileMarkers and am very happy with them. they have been on about 9 months now. BTW: summit paid for the pick up and return of the SW's and free shipping on my MM's  to Summit

i think i fixed the coolant issue... i put a brand new intake plentum gasket on when i pulled the motor last year... i may be looking at a head gasket on the way out..... imma see how much of my issues this new hose fixes.. it's early days yet (just did it yesterday)....

but......but.......the bike is color coded to match the pathy!! that's gotta be worth $3,000 right there!

ok. PM grimgreg because i think it was him who just did a really good write up about rust removal/repair on the frames.. i looked but our search function sucks big time and couldn't find it...... the answer is out there...lol

cool info to know animal! thanks for the p/n. yeah.. i was pushed for time (like.. 24hrs to fix it) so kragen was a godsend. it was the same hose just semi universal so i had to trim a tad off of it to get the right length. sorry to hear about the stang troubles! i still have to fix my original problem of white smoke stinky exhaust fuel smell..
-
the hose i got from krangen had the same bend in it, just one end was a bit longer.. so it has to be cut each end to make the right shape/size/fit. it doesn't kink but being new it was very stiff.. hence the vaseline at each end.. with such a small amount of space to work in.. every little bit helps as for when you do your t-belt.. yeah.. might as well get this little critter outta the way, h2o pump, t-stat, might as well change all your belts, check your fan clutch/fan.... check your radiator and a/c cooler thoroughly... and just make sure everything looks tip top B is going to place a write up i did about this in the pinned garage section -study-

and another shot....

ok. So this is NOT a fun job. If you have big hands.. pay someone! If you are losing coolant and can see no visible leaks.. I suggest you check this little guy. Ok. You need the basics of tools, screwdriver, long nose clamp pliers, something long and rounded so as to help coax the hose in place without damaging it (i used an extension bar), and a LOT of patience! There is extremely MINIMAL space to work with, and it is best to disconnect/remove a couple things first. Disconnect battery. Remove coil wire, and flip throttle cable back out of the way. Remove the cover that is over the distributor cap. Remove the yellow sensor near the fuel rail. Remove the 2 ground wires connected to the intake. Remove the radiator, fan shroud, fan, remove timing belt cover. Use whatever means necessary to remove the 2 clips that hold this hose on. I ended up partially breaking one to remove it. No biggie, because you throw them out or keep them for a souvenier. Once the clips are free and you actually worked a miracle and got the hose off, stop and have a few -alcohol- before you take your new hose and cut it to size. If you get it from Kragen like I did, you have to cut a bit off the part of the hose that will be the "top", and also off the "bottom". Once you have trimmed, get some vaseline (if nothing else is available to you) and spread a TINY bit over the very bottom of the hose for ease of maneuverablity. **Make sure NOT to get any vseline inside the hose** Stuff the hose in the microscopic gap that is near the fuel rail up top. Then put your HOSE CLAMPS over the hose. You will want the hose in before the clamps.. and by this time you will have figured out why. Try to get the bottom in first, and then the top. Have patience and do not use a sharp object like a screwdriver to help you... not good. You will damage the hose. Just ask Dave Once the hose is on, tighten up your hose clamps, re attach ground wires, sensor, coil wire, replace throttle cable and distributor cap cover. then follow steps above in reverse. The stores call this hose an "upper bypass hose" The p/n at kragen is: S63735. It is $5.99. The whole hose you will be replacing is only about 6" long...with a bend in it. Here is the hose's location

seriously use the search function.. this stuff has been covered a 1,000 times recently.. if i wasn't so tired i'd find you some links myself....
-
does it also come with the t/o bearing? sssh
-
i like that hot pink.. think imma paint my pathy that color.. matches the blue interior.... sssh
-
what he said.. and don't forget to cut the coils down before install.. and longer shocks are a good idea if you plan on flexin her at all
-
glad i could be of service. Dave helped a lot in getting the sucker on and tightening the belts. I am anal so i checked while he tightened.. *note to MZ.. don't even think about it!!* lmao sly it really was a PITA.. but once we got the hose cut down to size just right all was good. Dave still trips on the water pressure these motors have.. hehehe.. all is good.. now to fix my ORIGINAL problem of the white smoke n stinky exhaust.. oil doesn't seem to smell so bad of gas.. i have other engine bay pics of the sitcheeation.. so if anyone needs "open" pics of the cam sprockets or anything.. i have them. ALSO!!!!!! Nissan built the motor AROUND this little hose... so I suggest once you DO get those nasty little clips off... use hose clamps instead.... -bounce- wooHoooooo...all done
-
and here she sits.. waiting for reinforcements to arrive with hoses..

and here's just another top view of where it goes...
