If you mean a stock external tire carrier I've taken mine off my rig and am giving it away I posted it in the free parts forum its off my 88 with allthe hardwear if you want it let me know.I also have a tail light for a Nissan hard body if some one wants that, the junk yard sold me the wrong one and wont exchange it for a 86.5- 89 pathy one.

That sucks a$$ dude I've been through that my self with my last car some idiot about two cars in front of me did the classic blinker at the kast min. and caused a pile up at 60mph and caused a 3 car pile up i swerved to miss them and slid out of controll into an embankment onto my roof and then slid about 150 feet on the roof . when the police got there they gave me a D.U.I. FOR 3AND A HALF BEERS I drank 2 hours befor that.
But on the brite side of it I would have never got my pathy or got to talk to all you guys. I'd still be in the mustang with nothing to talk about Iwas done with all my mods and wastrying to sell the ticket getter.

Be sure to post some pics of that roof rack install when you're done. I have wondered if those can be modified to fit on the older pathys. :cool2:
It's comming along great I have step by step pics of that and befor and afters of my lift and tires if I'm calm enough to get my scanner to work I'll post them soon or beat my computer into small little chunks of plastic.

I have changed the stock stereo with a new one in my 88 pathy and I can't get the front channels to work . I have the rear ones working , I found an amp in the dash behind the radio and disconected it and used the output wires from the amp to the speakers to get sound but could only find wires for the back. Where would the other wires be for the front .

Well I think I finally got this figured out, my girlfriend got me new tools and a used stock roof rack off of a wrecked x-terra for my birthday. I told her I wanted to do some work to one and put a basket on it to hold my spare tire I just started on it and it's going to be easier than I thought to modify it to fit my 88 I'll try to post some pic's when I'm done if it works out . I'm also doing diamond plate work under the doors.
-
would you mind taking some pictures of that so i could possibly implement that idea
I have pictures but my scanner is messed up I'll try to find someone to post them for me.

Yeah, just get some black rock crawler rims; they're about $50 apiece and lots of people make them, they're all the same design. American Racing and Allied Wheel are two that I know of.
joeytattoo: are they real beadlocks or are they simulated [mock-locks]?
they are real I said the same thing to the sales guy are they real or lookalikes.
20w50 too think for a vg30?
