  1. I feel your pain completely I got my rig for almost nothing put a lot of time and money in it and every time I do something to it something else breaks but I love my pathy and I dont even want a new or diffrent one so Im stuck doing insane stuff to my rig to keep it on or off road.

  2. I'd guess that its barely latched, and is outward force with the diamond plate in there is forcing it out and not allowing enough give for the latch to open. Have you tried giving it a nice hard push in while pulling the latch?

I've tried everything I can think of including kicking the $hit out of it I can see the latch from the inside of the cab but cant get it to go.:blink:

  3.  pssd Well to day I was putting diamond plate on my pathy and got to doing some on the rear between the bumper and the tail gate over where the bolt holes to the tire rack use to be I was checking the fit I shut the tailgate and now I cant get it open does anyone have a idea how too.
  4. Dude, if you need pointers on where to put a jack, maybe you should have someone else work on your Pathy.

    Hehehehe

Man, the best way to learn the right way to do is doing the wrong.... :P

By the way... I need a friend's Pathy to prove this thought...

till his rig falls on him or something like that .

  5. No I never did figure out whats up with my rig its been sitting in the garage since early sept. my GF got a new Range Rover and I helped her by cosigning and helping with the down payment. So she gave me her other car and now I can rebuild the pathy and be as slow as I need to be with it . plus I relly like the car and thats all Ive wanted to drive lately. But I'm sure the newness will wear off and its back to old reliable.

  6. there is only one vehicle I've seen on its roof more than a jeep and I don't think it was the rigs fault , but the tires remember the BIG Ford explorer problem a few years ago . at least they had an good reason for being fliped over unlike the trendy rich kid toy jeep thingy. :D I'll stick to what works my 500$ pathy that can out perform just about any package deal trail rated peice of crap.

  7. I dont think your stereo would like the water too much although thats pretty deep water. Then there is some other electronic box mounted just under the stereo that should also be protected. I'm not sure what it is though  anyone know? The engine will die if the distrbutor gets wet but no damage done. Then of course a snorkel for the air intake. Thats all of the critical things I can think of right now but no garentee that you'd be ready for a dunking after all this.

When I changed my stereo I ran across that box if its the one aia'm thinking about thats a clarion stock amp.

  8. ok i'm thinking about getting some yakima bars anybody have any ideas on a good yet inexpensive basket?

My girl friend got me a basket last week for my b-day I can ask her where and how much she said it was'nt to expensive.
