    Well I have a new story from today that will degrade myself with now I went to pick up a new tail light and voltage regulator today for the pathy and have the alternator looked at . coming home from getting my parts and svc. done my rig started to act reel funny and then put put sputter bang you get the point so I made it home and started to see what was wrong .So I got to thinking it was my timing that had jumped no timing belt no so the alternitive .Knoing my rig was in the shop and they were trying to put my parts on that I bought to do my self I thought they messed with my car. :angry::wacko: pssd :angry::blink: so I called and began :nono: :furious: pssd :nono::wacko: you no good cheating a$$h@#es W.T.F. did you do to, and on and on . so after I got hung up on I remembered I tuned it up last week .So I looked at all that was done and found that the little bolt /screw that holds the rotor button in place backed out and was just sitting there I put it back snuged it down and bang!!! good as new so don't ifeel like an a$$. :blink:

    ok i just repleced my battery and I think I'm over charging my voltage guage reads fine in traffic in town or at low speads but as soon as I get over 40 it climbs up the faster i go the higher it goes about 65 mph and shes at 18 amps ,or the guage is maxed out could this be becuuse I still have not replaced the voltage regulator that runs my gas and temp guage. :mellow:

    I've said befor that my girl friend is an international economist that works for the D.O.E. . Every time I complain about the gas prices she has a little story for me .Here go's The gas price's are high yes but if you think they are bad now imagine this . The government has a federal fuel subsidy in place because without it gas would be at it's cheepest $3.50 or more depending on where you live for low grade fuel.She also go's on to say that if Kerry got into office (which she supports)it would be even more .She also go's on and on to the point of :asleep: boardum that the only reason we still use gas powered cars is because the infrastructure is there to support it V's natural gas or hydro powered cars like in Iceland where almost all cars run on alternative fuels.

     

    and I hear this every time I say S!%t gas is high at $2.01 a gallon. :type: :)

    It should be fine. Just bypass the stock cooler completely and use an aftermarket cooler instead. That's the trick.

    I just put a new set of NGK V-Power plugs in and they run good, but anything is better than what I had. I don't think the plugs had ever been changed, and I have 139,000 miles now.

     

    I am going to get the NGK wires too. This is the cheapest I have found them.

    I've been thinking about putting in a tranny cooler befor mine breaks down .I've had no problems with the stock one but I don't know when the last time the fluid was done befor now and am kinda worried I habe seen yoo much lately about coolers going bad .will this hurt my pathy if i change it. :)

    I would like to know what plugs, & plug wires you used and where you got the wires. I went to Shucks and they wanted $100 for the build them yourself wires.

     

    Oh and do the new wires come with the huge A$$ heat guard thing on the plug end?

     

    And what button did you replace?

    we'll I wen't to Pepboy's and got 6 bosch plugs for $1.09 each.

    A B.W.D. plug wire set for $44.99.

    A purealator fuel filter for $19.79

    A distributer cap and rotory button set (pepboys) brand ?for $24.99

     

     

    And to answer your other question yea they have that big heat shield tube. ;)

    I just did a full tune up on my pathy plugs , wires , fuel filter , cap , and button. Along with oil change and tranny flush. I had the tranny done then took her home and did the rest you would not believe the differance. I t even sounds different. :cool2:

    Im in the canton/akron area. That would be awesome if we could hook up some time. I really don't even know where any trails are up here. :confused:

    neither do I my girlfriend is from here so maybe one of her family members knows . I know her cousin has a jeep and likes that stuff but hes a jacka$$ and would probably send me to a field with a 2 inch mud puddle in it. :huh:

    HELLO fefe welcome to the forums . I have one quick question an L.P.G. tank in a pathy.cool I'd like to se some stuff on that ,as would my girlfriend being that she works in in ecoscince and economics for the U.S. d.o.e. most resently she was in india dealing with natural gas concept cars . I have been to many seminars and have a growing intrest in alternative fuel vehicles.So clue me in as to how your conversion comes out.
