  1. IT will not fit unless your right side has the 2 holes on the top and 2bottom.. Its an inside deal within... I looked at a few and its way too much work to add it onto one that wasn't meant to have it. The big tire package pathfinders had them/ you paid more for that option in the old days... You would have to do major surgery to make it work and then even then it would be a pain for it to work proper. Just get one fabbed up from someone local the cost would be the same i bet in the end.....
  2. I am looking at changing my bulbs and want to run those high output blueish bulbs/ Has anyone used them. I just remember using them in my gsxr and they always blew from abuse like wheelies and such/ wondering if a ruff ride will kill them early? Also while we on the lighting subject how much extra power can i add before i hurt the pathfinders electrical system. Im eyeing the piaa fog and floods. Just want to know how many i can add safely before i need to upgrade othergear. I am not at all an electrical expert/ Im lucky if i get the stereo right when i hook it up
  3. I love the look of the og bumper especially the chromer and they are not to be found in vancouver on the autowrecker lots. I have looked and looked... Thus welding a beefcake bumper is my only option..
  4. Hmmmm this may make things more time consuming dammit... I start a new job on monday this needs to be done tomorrow... Well i will have to break out the expensive drill bits... I will just blow out the middle of each bolt.. Im wondering how tight it is underneath. I really have not gone under it too much... Thanks for this post pickels its enlightened me on what im about to do.
  5. WTF Does anyone own a hand grinder? Im gonna just grind off the old bodyboltsnuts on mine! Forget the idea of greasing an old bolt down mang... Chop it... Well we will se what im up for LOL Mines next im doing loads of pictures on mine its gonna be the start oh shizit i gotta go get the kit now!... Then the welding begins front back bumpers and a yakima copy roofrack... saw this last night and i was stoked... oh yeahhhhhhh
  6. Okay what exactly listed am i gonna have to be sure of to undo for the 3 inch lift. I just got some new [Rancheros for the front] and a 3 inch body lift kit today. Can i assume 1 day will be enough to get this done? I have never lifted a pathfidner before. I have also been researching the total weight that the torsion bars can handle example 383 engine. Not gonna happen... Has anyone ventured down the road to custom build torsion bars for a set weight in mind? Otherwise i need to find parts for the SAS conversion dammit this project is a freakshow.. Anyone know anybody in vancouver canada who does sas conversions? I want to do the SAS myself but the engine is enough on my plate to do... Anyways going to nabb the gear now for tomorrow.. Would like if someone can list all the crap i need to be aware of on the 3 inch bodylift.. Thanks
  7. Got it back 35 days later ICBC~eeyahoff tried to replace the window said gonna be 400 dollars for the passenger triangle one? ROFLLOLOL I told the freak to send it home. Next oh the keys are in transit so i will have to send you a screwdriver to start it? WTF:blink: Anyways got it started it with the screwdriver and got it aircared/ replaced the window from autowreckers for 30 bucks. 2 seconds to replace.. And now driving it and looking for the gears to do it up. 2005 going to be the 350-383 conversion i think 1000% But first need rear coils for the 3 inch lift/ body blocks/ aArm 3 inch lift[questioning 88offroad i am 100% that i saw him with something new and different?] This year i am painting it and tinting the windows like a volvo i just saw 2 days ago sweet new style of tint...
  8. the Pathfinder or a truck? If its a truck what year and got a picture
  9. It is definately the starter or solonoid. Replace it before it dies completely and dayum its a bezzzatch to replace and not cheap either.
  10. Still thinking on what 2 do... The Pathfinder still may be found and hopefully its not beat to death... If it is i am so screwed... Showing all the symptoms of a lost child pssd
  11. Well i put way too much cash into it. ICBC gonna screw me so in one hand i must have a KY jelly and just getting ready to have my hiney plugged by those bezatchs... Not at all happy but dunno if i am gonna do this all over again. Want another pathy but might be thinking of a Chevy 1999-2003 blazer ZR2 http://www.chevrolet.com/blazer/ http://www.new-cars.com/2003/chevrolet/che...zer-photos.html http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/432718 This would be the dream to the new one... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/496083 Already sourced one out in town and payments at $200 a month? Dunno man might be jumping the bandwagon :X

  19. I need help in locating this valve? :X
  20. Hate to say it but shop rate is a pain.... And its oem parts all the way! After my blowing a Old rusty high pressure steering pump line on mine i will NEVER have a shop do it.... I could have went down to... (after the fact that i had new lines on from the shop of course) Anasis Island in Vancouver to get a custom pair of lines made up of my choice.. Mind you i wanted in the first place.. Was looking at steel braided lines. In the end it would have been my labour/time pulling taking down and would have had themin 15-30 minutes of being there... Cost of these lines bent to that of the oem pathfinders. 100- bucks plus tax canadian.. Now the OEm ones could not be found in vancouver... The high pressure one had to be replaced so ordered it was ~ cost of it after shipped 400 dollars alone without installing the fakker... The other was made up of line in the shop rubber and that plastic protector line..... Well it cost me a fortune/Plus that of me not having my ride for a week... i could have ripped a used one off a donor vehicle at the wreck yard for 50 bucks spent that same day getting the custom one made and still been at it way ahead of the game. I have since done / replaced my front brakes/ rear brakes emergency line retightened/ starter and solonoid. I cannot afford the mechanics/ the only thing i have paid for was getting tires put on and balanced which is only 5 bucks a wheel up the street. The other mechanic I went to asked how much it cost me for tire swaps and when i told him he was shocked... He stated its 100 bucks at his shop!!! Thus if you can in any way do the clutch yourself ........... DO IT... Put that extra cash into parts you want or tires or umpfhhhhhhh up the engine..
  21. Well its been a true LOVE and HATE relationship with me and my 87 Pathfinder.... I hate it it breaks i love it it runs like a new vehicle... Anyways i was ranting all over this forum about me selling it had 5 people come look at her and low ball me.. Just then i realized Screw this crap.. Bought it for 2700 laid major cash into it at least 2980 so screw it. Its a lifer Anyways i got some more meats for it 31 X10.5 15 on the 95 pathy rims and they look better than the last set/ tooo boot cheaper.. ANyway the 3 put on where balanced on a machine the last one not balanced reason being not near shop... I got a serious wobble in the front.... I hope this is due to the last unbalanced wheel.... If it ain't this time i will be pist breaking on me after i say to it i will never get rid of you..... sssh So I was wondering if anyone out here on the forum has a spare 95 rim? Or another set of four 95 rims? I have the stock set of chromes from the 87 and am debating selling or painting and laying more meats on them as spares.... I found a 350 engine and Auto tranny soon to be going into the 87 path/ as of now seeking the SAS front end conversion and or looking at the spring coil route... I got a mile long list to do/ welding/ fabricating... will post pictures after its started/mid finished.
  22. fab up a single roof rack ( you can get the idea of what i mean) and drill lights paint chrome or whatever floats your boat....
  23. anyone like the stock chrome rims??? 20 bucks for all 4 rims? Vancouver 20 bucks for a starter+solonoid used...
  24. Just take the body off and find another frame thats good cut it down reweld... Or rework new tubes but you will have to pull up the body in the butt end! Wow thats some rust!!!! :o Prevention paint your frame/ and clean it // pressure wash in the salty seasons!
  25. I am looking at a 83 toyota diesel landcruiser 4 door wagon! 32 inch tires etc,,, I have lost my mind with the Pathfinder. Wanna keep it I know the swap would be a gong show but i got all the links around town. Drive shaft specialists for making me new stuff and the tranny ect fit well i weld machine and play all the time with CUSTOM stuff the trick word is custom! I was going to keep the pathy in the corner and play wtih over a 6 month period till it was driveable but i am selling it... I will get another sooner or later newer most likely and immidiatley bust it apart when i got a extra space in the shop!
