  2. Have been looking at buying a roof basket, but when they are going for 500 bucks 2nd hand I figured that it would be easier to get the boys at work to fabricate one for me, that way it will be to the dimensions I want. I found this online, which will be pretty much what I get done, will add 2 light mounts on front and a wind deflector as well, wont be full truck width as I will also have an awning made by our trim shop mounted on one side and a tube for fishing rods mounted on the other side. Already spoke to the boys, will be approximately 2 weeks away as they are busy this week.

  3. I hear a noise squeak when accelerating, from the engine in the low side of the co-pilot seat and notice that the gasket from the manifold to the exhaust system was broken so I decide replace with brand new ( a PITA to do it XD) Anyway,, so the squeaky noise disappear but the gas leak remains a little bit I that only make the noise when going up to 4000RPM and then I place my hand on it and feel a warm weak blowing and see the that the gasket didn't fit on the middle of the tube and take this picture

I clean perfectly both manifold and tube from the old gasket remains as you can see there is a little opening between the manifold and I was wandering if there is any kind of sealant that can be used to fix this? Or should I replace one of the tubes ? Did something like this happen to you?

Is strange although the nuts and screws are tight very well the little space don't disappear

    Mexico Spring Break Warning

    Sunday March 1, 2009

Beach Got a kid heading off on spring break? The U.S. State Department just issued a travel warning for travelers heading over the Mexican border, urging them to exercise extreme caution in unfamiliar areas and limit their travel to daylight hours on well-traveled roads. Many of the typical spring break locales - Cancun, Cozumel and Cabo San Lucas, for example - are still fairly safe, but in the last several months, drug cartel-fueled violence has escalated dramatically in border towns, including Juarez, Tijuana and Nogales. Among the incidents: shootouts in malls and other public venues in broad daylight, kidnappings and assaults that have claimed innocent bystanders as well as police officers.

The University of Arizona, Arizona State and colleges across Texas, California and the Southwest are passing the warning along to their spring breakers, encouraging them to avoid those border towns and perhaps pick a different vacation destination altogether.

  8. my pathy do exactly same and I realize the manifold gaskets where broken and let pass smoke to the passenger area so I changed them (is a kind of PITA to do it ) and problem solved for the smell but still doing the same in the white smoke on the mornings and cold days and something else happened when is cold the RPM gauge goes to 1200 and remain there about a minute or two and then it get down under 1000 and stay there until I turn in off.

I already clean the MAF sensor do you know how to check the C2 sensor?
