Well there are going to be plenty of pics I can promise that. The lift is going on then its going on a wheeling trip with some friends with full size Chevys some SAS'd at a private off road park that was rented out for the weekend And even if you get a smaller lift, Its still going to cost about the same

Im going to be putting on a 4 inch subframe drop this winter break, I will let yall know how it turns out. And I always thought that everyone just wanted to go higher. I mean thats what I want at least. Everything is bigger in TEXAS after all :tonguefinger:

Smaller Wheels- Will They Fit?
01silvapathy replied to 01silvapathy's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Okay guys i got the consent from the builder to release his info, but there is a catch you have to identify who it is by looking at this picture and sending him a PM, he will build you a subframe drop. If you know who it is dont reply on this thread with his name it will ruin the fun!!! Good luck -

Thats pretty clean man, and I love the ARB bullbar And you have the 3.5 right? Cause I get about 16 right now with everything stock lol, If I didnt want bad fuel economy then I would not get a lift or 33's but I do! To me its worth the sacrafice -

True that I pretty much fainted when I saw the pics and Video of his Beast! Anyways yeah I have some connections for the lift, I sent the money today to get it and should have it within two weeks or so, and am going to make a video/slideshow about the install, and will post it when the lift is completed. And about the tire size true that I could fit up tp 35's but they are much more expensive, and me being a college student, I have like next to no money lol, so yeah and Less modifications with the wheel wells -

Awesome then these wheels are a go for me too!, except for the rubbing part lol -
Im buying a lift soon, and I was wondering if the strut tower mount that they sell on 4x4parts.com the ones that are having the problems, if so where do i find the OE mounts? The pathy has about 90k on it without them being replaced, also what shocks and stuts are better, bilstein or rancho? -Andrew

Thats a good idea you have there david, just heat the plastic enough so that it bends, I would have just cut it out lol And let me know how it goes with the wheels, Im looking at getting them in december, when I get my 6 inch lift, but im going to get 33 inch km2's due to the subframe drop :tonguefinger: Its gonna be sweet Oh and PICS!!! -

Thats good to hear, now I have ammo to shot at the guy when I go back lol And David, when you say rubbing you mean with the tires right? Not the wheels themselves. -

Thanks for the advise, espically how he may be trying to get me to buy a more expensive wheel- (Cheap Punk) lol I think that i might just go there and ask then to try and fit a 15 inch wheel on it, if they wont then i will just go somehwere else like 4 Wheel Parts or something, which im sure will be more supportive then Discount Tire -
So, I went to Discount Tire the other day to inquire on some new wheels and tires. I was talking to the guy there and we got into the discussion of wheel size. He asked what size wheels I have right now, and I said 16's- (01 LE double tri spoke), and that i was looking at getting 15's. He immediatly said no you cant do that! I was shocked, if im not mistaken, alot of people here are running 15's. He said that they WILL NOT mount or install the wheels if they are smaller then stock, as they willl not clear the factory brakes and its "not dealer reccomended" lol. So my question is can I use 15 inch wheels, or am I mistaken?

Yeah for sure I love my VQ, unfortunatly it is an auto and i have yet to secure the power valve screws- I really got to get on that, It would be a shame to loose my beloved Pathy to some little screw

All Mode 4wd questions (Im confused)
01silvapathy replied to denvern's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I have a 01 LE with all mode, and it just seems like a pain, if your in doubt that you will get traction then you should be in 4wd anyways. -
Suspension Lift, And Locking Hubs
01silvapathy replied to 01silvapathy's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Okay so if I want to get spacers is there any plans or schematics that anyone has that i can give to a local chop to have them made? Or will the 9/16 spacers be enough? -
Suspension Lift, And Locking Hubs
01silvapathy replied to 01silvapathy's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Thanks dude I was wondering if anyone was going to respond or not. And i think that this is the lift that im going to do. Everyone is talking about AC lifts is this the one cause i can only find old man emu suspension set ups, nothing else, is there a website or somthing for them? Thank you for getting the link for the hubs i really appreciate all the work you helped me with. one more question- Will this lift kit raise my ride height by 2 inches i know it says 1.75 but is that right, and will the ride height be even, or do i need strut spacers? Keeping in mind that the future has a ARB Bull Bar and a Warn M8000 winch in it. Thanks for all your help!!! -
So i am looking into getting the Delux Suspension Package off of 4X4parts.com- is this the right kit to go with or should i go with another kit? Also I was wondering if i should go and put on the Warn manual locking hubs right away or wait for awhile. But i looked at the hubs and for the 1990-2004 (I have a 01) it says that it is only for the 3.0 or 3.3 Engine. But having the le with the 3.5 will it still work, or will it cause problems? And will the hubs fit over new wheels if I decide to get them? Help Please, I hope i did this right as it is my first time posting anything on this or any forum for that fact.
