  1. Well, i pulled the alternator and had it checked, it was seriously bagged..needed a bunch of stuff replaced. So i got my hands on a Mitsubishi alternator, same size and everything, threw it in and everything is cool once again! No more warning lights! Thanks for the info!
  2. well i left my truck sit all day long and when i started it after work and the A/T light was still on?! it should've cooled down. the battery and brake service lights are on too. Checked all the fuses, they're good to go. Checked the alternator and it is not charging. Thinking that is why the service lights are on. This is kinda bizarre??
  3. Hello, I had my tranny flushed about 2 days ago and this morning my A/T TEMP light came on . I searched the forum and see that I probably need an aftermarket tranny cooler. It just seems strange that this light has never come on in the past??? Is there some sort of sensor wire that could have been bumped or disconnected while hooking the lines up to the flushing machine?? Has anyone encountered this or know why this occurs. I will throw on another cooler tonight. Thanks
  4. Thanks 88, that's just what I needed to know. I guess i'll head back out there and see if they're over a half inch thick. Rock On!
  5. You need the front coils out of the JGC, at least that seems to be the most popular. Some people run the old Ford coils, but they are way stiffer I guess.
  6. well i know i need the V8 springs, but i'm thinkin maybe the guys at the autoyard didn't label the springs properly and they are actually off a "Grand" cherokee (V8) So I was hoping someone knew if there is a way of confirming they are off a V8 or V6. But I might just head back out there and do some more measuring. Thanks!
  7. I finally found some coils I can use to lift my truck..I think??! They are labeled "1993 Jeep Cherokee" They have a 4" inner diameter and look like the V8 coils posted. I'm just wondering if there is a way to tell the difference between the V6 or V8 coils? or do they just have a different spring rate?? Anybody know the difference? Cheers! --------------------
  8. Interesting, hey what brand of body lift did you use? What year is your rig? I have an automatic 88 and am trying to find a 3" BL that will work with my truck.
  9. Great thanks, good stuff to know before hand!
  10. So it;s better to heat and bend the pigtails than to just cut'em off?
