  1. Sounds like you're developing a resonance somewhere. I've heard that problems with the driveshaft can cause vibration problems. Something to do with the carrier bearing, I think.
  2. I was originally going to get nerf bars, but I think I'm going to get rock sliders instead. Nerf bars are good for looks, but rock sliders are actually functional and I'm starting to like the way they look over nerf bars and running boards, anyway.
  3. I think I'm just going to declare it a "hard hat only" zone. I think it's a combination of the struts losing their compression and my own forgetting the hatch is going to come down before I stick my head in there (so much for doing things in a hurry!) - one day I will learn..........one day
  4. Not today, but thanks for the offer
  5. Hmmmmm, where to start Steerings all loose and truck's all over the road Manifold tick (or something in the exhaust) Vacuum whistle - tried fixing with a new intake hose, but it's still there! I think it's that 1/2" hose that comes out of main intake hose causing all the noise, but I'll get it -study- Bad bushings somewhere - wheels bounce like crazy on bumpy roads. -bounce- Tranny goes "bump" at 1-2 shift Can't drive in OD at speeds <30 mph - tranny gets real shifty Truck needs lift/wheels too small CV boots just starting to crack Brake calipers need replacing AC completely dead, but who needs it anyway (in Seattle) Dome light just started to flicker this week  Rear bumper's dented Can't open the rear hatch without it hitting my head a few seconds later Creaks, squeaks and rattles
  6. Sounds like a loose brake component - settling in quickly as you apply the brakes and causing a jerk when things reach a resting point. Only other thing I can think of is a warped rotor.
  7. What's the fluid look/smell like? Change the fluid and install a cooler and you should be ok. Mine will do this on occasion at torque converter lock-up after driving for a long time and new fluid seems to help out if it starts happening a lot.
  8. You would think that as Nissan representatives, they would honor that fix, but I have read some stories where they don't. I wish I'd taken care of mine before it hit 100k because now I am reminded by a noise for a few minutes every morning that I didn't.
  9. Seemed like deja-vu, where was that originally posted - I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Was it deleted?
