  1. I found a Class II hitch at the local pick and pull last week. I priced some brand new and I got quotes ranging from $130 to $190. When I went to the register to pay for it, he said $12.50. Can't beat that. I got mine from a 95 Pathy but I'm not too sure about the P/U is the same.
  2. The Volks are nice. I had thought about getting them also but I really didn't want to pay that amount of money for a set of wheels for my Pathfinder when I can get the Volks for my G35. They are right though. Sprray paint is your friend and they have all types of colors nowadays. That bronze hammered paint would look sick in my opinion.
  3. JJ, that is truly messed up....That must have taken you a while to get that right....
  4. as far as the three doors unlocking and then locking again, the door that is staying locked may have a connection loose on the actuator of the door locks. the other issues sound like maybe your actuators are no longer attached to your lock mechanism. check all of them to be sure that they are all attached properly.
  5. ^^^It just went X rated in here...
  6. Almost 10 days guys and the exhaust is still holding up. I checked it to see if there were any holes but I shoved it into the crevices pretty good.
  7. Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that my Pathy will be undergoing a new paint job next week. Im pretty excited. I will get pictures up when its complete.
  8. My flanges on my exhaust have rusted out a good amount and I was getting a bad exhaust leak. I took it to Monro to get an estimate to fix it thinking they could probably just put a bead of weld to close it up. Mind you, this is a 1993 WD21 from the Northeast and it has been killed by the years of snow and salt. So they quoted me $1100 for some new exhaust pipe and an O2 sensor since he "believed" that the one on there would be too difficult to take off. I didnt want to spend that much on the truck since that would probably be more than the actual value of the truck itself. So I went to Autozone and bought some exhaust liquid putty that hardens into metal and filled all the gaps on the flange. The end result is no exhaust leak at all and I only spent $6.00. I also had a huge hole in the floor underneath the carpeting where the rust ate it and I fixed that with a sheet of aluminum from Home Depot, some cherry rivets and a tube of silicone adhesive/gasket. That cost me around $30.00. So now the Pathy is somewhat back to where it was before. And it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. Just thought I would rant and give you guys something to read.
  9. not trying to steal this thread but what are the two screw/bolts on the back of the seat for? when you fold down the rear seats there are 2 screws/bolts on the back....i always wondered what these were for...and i bet its obvious and ill probably feel like a dumbass for it...
  10. it will be tough man but i hope you find yourself in another pathfinder soon...good luck and happy trails...
  11. Mine has a black vinyl cover...But my spare tire was also inside the trunk before...anyone else have this same one?
  12. Man I like the way those things look....
  13. If you can't return it, you are just going to give it away? I'll take it if you just want someone to pay for shipping. Please let me know. Thanks.
  14. and i messed up on the part number. its SUM-G4985.
  15. http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...mp;#entry425644 This link should take you to the post that has the summit part. Thats where i got mine from.
  16. I just did mine last night with the Summit Racing uni-one Part #SUM-4985 I believe. Pretty self explanatory but getting the adapter plate on was a PITA. After that it was pretty much smooth sailing just until the point where you start it up and clench your @$$ hoping that you don't have a leak.
  17. Just wondering if anyone has ever mounted small subs into the rear hatch? I was thinking of trying it with maybe a couple of 8" subs. im not looking for any huge bass but just some bass presense.
  18. My rack is kinda homemade. The fork mounts were bought from performance bicycle and its a universal mount that can be made to mount anywhere. So i used the threads within the bar and used 10mm bolts with a lock washer to mount the fork mounts. maybe im just being a little paranoid?
  19. the bar doesnt flex that much and it would be just freeway driving for the most part. no offroad excursions. i have already driven with them on for about 45 minutes and no problems.
  20. Has anyone mounted 2 bikes to the top of their WD21s' OEM roof rack? I have done it but didnt drive very far. I was just wondering if the bars itself can handle the flexing of the weight of the bikes. I am using 2 fork mounts mounted to the front bar and the rear tire is clamped to the rear bar using a u-bolt with a plate that goes through the rear wheel. I am looking on going on a 3 hour trip and was just thinking about maybe squeezing a steel bar in the gap under the front and rear bar to absorb some of the flex from the bikes. Any ideas guys?
  21. well no one has messed with my torsion bars...both sides were equally low before then when i replaced the pass. side tension rod that side raised up...i just want both sides to be the same height...
  22. So by me replacing that other tension rod and bushings would that raise up the other side to the same height as the side that was replaced?
  23. Just replaced it with a brand new one from the stealership...funny thing though...when i lowered the truck down off the jack the side that i changed the tension rod on ended up being slightly higher than the other side...any ideas why? should i replace the other tension rod and bushings as well?
  24. Thanks man. Is the dealer the only place I can get this part or will Autozone or Pepboys carry this?
