Ya, i dnot know about that whole, "switching frame idea" i know a guy that had an old school landcruiser fj40, and he got pulled over.. well teh cop looked at his vin number on his dash and the cop knew where one of the hidden vin numbers was on the frame, and so he got written up for that, and now he cant drive his lc on the road anymoer... thought to ponder on.. thats probably what the junkyard was talking about? your probably better off finding another cheap pathy and then switching out all the parts.. pathys aint that exspensive, you could probably find a pretty decent one for the same price as an xj...

So when i make left turns it feels like its low on powersteering fluid, and when i make right turns nothing happens, well it was low so i filled it up with atf... and its still has a weird feeling when i make left turns.. anyone know what it could be? Thanks, Bulmer

what my plans are.. tearding out, putting in bedliner for th e carpet.. then putting in seat covers and painting over the dash.. then for the doors im gonna put up aluminum raod signs or some chit

or you could also do what my buddy does... Get a p.o box in a county where you dont need to smog, and just say you live up there for all your smog work, go up there once a month to get your papers and call it good.. sorry for highjack too :tonguefinger:

Got mine 88 Se for 750 :tonguefinger: motor has about 7k miles on it now... od reads 253k Has as semi hard shift from 1-2 gear has little dents, and the rear qp is a lil crushed but its all good And inteior.. just regular wear on drivers seat, and fugly blue
