  1. closest pull it lot is an hour and a half away and in a sketchy part or va. beach so guys jump the fence at night and tear stuff up for fun so most of their stuff is worthless . Every other lot wanted alot more than it was going to cost me with shipping . $525 was the cheapest I got quoted for all the parts I need at local junkers , while I got everything I needed plus a few extra parts to replace some stuff that was a worn out like the rear bumper for $350 shipped .

    p.

Ermmm im pretty sure it doesnt matter whats wrong with the doors, you gut them anyways, put up some type of sheet metal for the back. Save the latches. Go get some doors at teh sketchy place ya pussay :tonguefinger:

  2. I'm from NC and not living in CA I've seen just as much rust out here on the west coast as I saw on the east coast...I always heard "california rust free"

my ass...try to find a you pull it lot and thats where you will find the big savings...

theres a difference... just like when i lived up in Washington compared to down here... big difference

  3. My Chit wasnt working either, check your rear taillights while your at it also (not your brake lights, but the lights that are on so people can see the rear of you) anyways mine ended up being a fuse... I just switched out my emergency signals for the fuse

  4. I ran no doors when it was raining also... Dont worry the ecu is about 2 in off the floor so water cant really sit with it. I might do that tubbawear idea. But other then that i dont really go through huge puddles, and even if i did, there is no way my engine can push my axles through it

  5. Dana 60 44in in pickups carrier bearings fail

Ford 10.25in 44in similar in strength to Dana 70 and 14 Bolt Full Floater

If you want something else, you'll pretty much have to change transmission, t-case and go with a different front axle. Expensive and you'll pretty much have to engineer everything yourself...steering, driveshaft, etc...

    I beg to differ :stickwack:

  6. i joind the army reserve as an 88m motor transportation operator and on june 16 i will be leaving for basic training in south carolina, i will be gone for 10 weeks so i wont be on the fourm for awile. im kinda excited and was just wondering if anyone has had any experience, that they would like to share. also lets see who else is/was in the army, gaurd, air force, navy ,cost gaurd , ect.

Thats awsome, i was thinking about being a truck driver in teh army cause i LOVE to drive. Anyways sounds like a killer idea, but i might wanna take my chances with "iceroad truckers" HAHA.... Id drive on those roads

  7. nope. 30 miles would not do that to tires. its been like that for a while. admit it

Honest to god it was probably 30 miles and prior to my tires were fine. The reason being, was because each wheel was not in sync with each other and when i would make turns it would chirp and almost sound like i was drifting every turn. And besides that i belive they could wear out that fast because they were already like... 20% :tonguefinger: Even surface though, not just bald on one side

I admit to beating the piss out of my pathfinder, and going about 2wice as many places as a majority of people on this forum. But also broke twice as fast.

  8. Thanks for a fairly worthless post, T.O.M. :stickwack::) What exactly happened to your alignmentand/or truck? With that kind of wear, something has *been* happing for quite a while.

The joint that connects the idler arm and the centerlink got all worn out, thus causing on tire to have a little play, and since it had a little play and i kept driving on it before i gave a hoot about... meh 30 miles, before i know it my front tires are bald. I was just excited that im doing a sas that i thought i would post it
