  1. It is the maf sensor that has to due with part of the problem. my 95 pathy seems to do it only when it gets extremely warm. Even though i haven't done a tune up recently, but usually when it dies i unhook the sensor for a few minutes start the truck back up and plug it in and its just fine.... id like to know exactly what cause it to be sluggesh and just die though

    Well I figured out the problem was a wire to the battery and a completely melted fuse. Damn those things lol. Part of my rewiring came undone on the distribution block, and melted the fuse for the right headlight. But thanks guys

    I have one headlight out. Its not the bulb. The other one works, but only on low. I can't seem to figure it out. And the fog light button no longer lights up? So I'm kind of shootin in the dark right now. well will be here shortly when its night time. Uhm, I took the fog light button out, and moved it out of my way, but don't remember how its wired up. Yellow, Purple, and blueish. Factory switch and wiring for this. If anyone can, instead of replying on here maybe give me a call 8128308714 names robert. so thanks if u could help me out

  5. Okay. So going down the road, I'm going to guess my adjuster screw came out went aroud mangled my shoes... Part of drum lip is missing.... Uhm... the pad with lever on it... curious of how to get it on new shoes... and will an alternate self adjuster work?
  6. Well.. I just broke some things in my right rear drum. I seem to not be able to find an adjuster screw that looks like the one that came out... Can someone help.. and how to get them just right?

    power?

    Okay so my next question because all I do is think about modding my pathy of course no job now... damn managers and not getting along lol anyways... once new job that pays good.. should be shortly but anyways.... What would be the hassle of getting more power out of VG30E motor? Isn't it the same one in like a 300Z? or so? I mean they have plenty of options for bolt on power just about so why not the WD21? I'm lookin to save $5,000 or so to spend on everything... $1,000 so far... I know heads, pistons, manifolds, intake, tranny, exhaust would be pretty much, plus sending ecu off to be programble... I live in Vincennes, IN. In another town called Jasper there is an engines specialist place that said they could make an ECU programable to hook up with a laptop to adjust things on the fly... Yeah its a lot of money to save back and than spend on something 14 years old.. but damn they are nice lookin vehicles when fixed up... Plus i've fell in love with jdm sounding vehicles...
  9. Well hell I ran my with no coolant for about a week than realized i was out.. Temps never got above normal even at speeds of 90mph+
  10. awesome! well i cleared the code after i checked it... seems to be running good... also another question why the cel comes on.. sometimes when i go play in water or mud it bogs down and pops and seems to miss?? One time i know why it did because i inhaled water in the intake.. "crossing a small river" not such a good idea...

  13. Okay. So me and my friends are driving down the highway when I noticed my truck trip over itself pretty much So I slow down a little then realize CEL is on? Also it came on the other day to... but than I changed batteries so it was reset? Well I don't know where my manual is right now. So My question is how do I run the codes? 95' Nissan Pathfinder SE v-6 All I know is how to turn the screw on the ECU but not sure exactly how to read the code?
  14. Okay, So I look on ebay for Nissan motors, and I come across the Turbo/Regular diesels.... I'm curious to exactly which one fits a 1995 WD21? And how hard it would really be to swap from gas to diesel... Be extremely nice ya know?

    Alright, just something I was curious of. Found the dyno run of our blazer from 2003 when we owned it. Went to local university to use a dyno.. only one in town... anyways it read 289.99HP/295.75ftlb tq

    As i recall, the 4.3L was the HO version not just the 4.3L, when we owned it, i realized there was a difference in power between a 4.3 apposed to a 4.3HO. i think the HP was around 295-300 for our blazer, Yeah, Well, Ive been looking for another pathy to drive. really don't care what year. 95 to 2000 would be nice, but im kind of on a cheap look and pathy's arn't always cheap... so ya know how that goes

    Yeah, space is always an issue... Wierd thing is though, and is messed up.... Space is the same as 1993 Blazer with 4.3L so why wouldn't that fit? Curious lol, even though tht's chevy..... but i mean 4.3L would be lot more power We used to own a 1993 S10 Blazer Tahoe package and it had close to 300hp BONE STOCK, which was nice to do 137 down the high way with 31" to 35" MT's. Can remember which size.. If I find old pics, i'll post, it was very clean but had detroit lockers front n rear.. very nice hands down, but i love my nissan
  18. okay, so in auto class today at school, we took the fusible link out, and checked it... came out working fine.... Flows current just fine... So maybe check the alternator again... But if it isn't the alternator.. What would be the next step in solving this problem? as is I have a whole lot of little money, I.e. I work at mcd's lol... So meaning i cant take it to nissan....
  19. Alright, I believe Im right about this, "but" isn't the fusible link for the alternator right next to the battery on the harness?
  20. Took the relay out.. Even with it in, and everything being fixed that I thought was wrong problem still consist of the three lights...

    So I was looking around for a typical engine swap, or the legendary diesel for the pathfinder... No idea still havn't found one... Anyways, ready this little speach about the VG engine, it seems to be, if you could find a DOHC model, you could easily produce 1000hp... Which would be enjoyably nice. But to me, I looked for the model number on the DOHC, and I did not find it. Possibly maybe with some help we could figure this out. To me though anything over 153 at about 5k is nice. Or even tell me if there really was ever a diesel engine for the WD21 platform. Thnx Much.   22. Yes, sometimes, I've checked all grounds that there possibly is. But problem still consist. Problem started after a 0 degree weather we had in indiana...
  23. Okay, so I have the same problem, but took the check bulb relay out, and now only have a bat. indicator lamp that comes on every so often. I've checked everything rebuilt the alt. did same thing, went and bought brand new from nissan a new alternator, and the lamp stayed on so i got my money back and stuck with the rebuilt alternator.... Sometimes when the truck really over chargers, the truck runs differently. Obviously all lights get a lot brighter.... I've ran out of clues of where to look to for why it does this.
