  1. Every once and a while the SES light comes on on my 2002 SE 5-Speed and when I connect my code reader, there is never a code in memory. Any ideas? Tom
  2. Thanks, I was thinking of doing that but didn't know if it would give me enough clearance.
  3. Just noticed my 17" wheels off a 2002 Pathfinder LE will not mount on my 2002 SE because they will not fit over the Warn Hubs I installed. I wanted to use the 17" wheels because I have 17" Blizzak tires mounted on them. Any suggestions other than get different wheels and if so, suggestions on some 17" wheels that will fit? Tom
  4. Actually the 17" wheel is from a 2002 Pathfinder and it is all one piece instead of the design of the 16" wheel which has a large center cap and the hole in the center is too small for the Warn Hub to fit through.
  5. I have a set of 17" wheels off a 2001 Pathfinder and when I tried to put them on my 2002 with Warn Hubs, the center hole is too small to fit over the hub. Are all the 17" wheels that way or just the 2001 version I have? Tom
  6. OK thanks, it was worth a try, I figured since my 2002 Altima had it, the readout would somehow be available on the 2002 Pathfinder. Tom
  7. On my SE there is only a Odometer for information, on my Altima and a friends newer Pathfinder LE, there is temp, mpg, mte, and so on, which I would like on my SE if possible. Tom
  8. If I install a LE Speedometer in my 2002 SE will the computer display show up where I now only have a Odometer? Tom
  9. Just ordered some OME springs, will put them in next week and report back on that. Any ideas of switching the Speedometer cluster from a LE to my SE to get the computer info? Tom
  10. My 2002 Pathfinder SE 5-speed sits low in the rear and I would like to put it back to where it should be, any ideas on what springs to purchase to make this happen. Also, if I replace the speedometer module with one from a LE, will that give me the computer features such as mileage, temp, etc, or wont's the LE version work in the SE?? Tom
  11. The Volant system is a lot like the rest of the systems such as K&N but the filter in inside a case to keep water off of it and it draws air from behind the fender plastic liner through a hole.
  12. I understand that but on my Xterra, the Volant system gained me about 1-2 mpg on the highway over the stock system, I expect from more efficient air flow.
  13. Since it looks like Volant doesn't make a product for the R50 Pathfinder, I was thinking about the Pop Charger, any ideas on that? Tom
  14. Does anyone make a CAI like the Volant for the R50 Pathfinder. I had a Volant on my Xterra and it worked out very well for me and an looking to put something similar on my 2002 Pathfinder? The Volant is a closed system, with a high flow filter in a free flow box to keep water and dirt out. What is out there for the R50 Pathfinder that others have used and are happy with? Tom
  15. I did do a search but only came up with a broken link
  16. Does anyone have access to the online version of the factory service manual for 2002 Pathfinder? Tom
  17. Mine did that also, so I replaced all the bushings in the control arms and the panhard rod which solved the problem completely. Around $110 for all the bushings (OEM) and just the time to press the old ones out and press the new ones in. Tom
  18. Then it seems to me, that a lack of EGR in the Alrima fours, would have saved the engine, instead of killing it because it was there and functioning.
  19. The Amazon site claims that "This product does not fit your 2002 Nissan Pathfinder" when I went to purchase the WARN 29091 Premium Manual Hubs. What is that about ?
  20. I looked at the TB and it seems like it will be a real pain just getting down to the point where I can take off the nuts holding it down, one nut seems almost impossible to get at. Tom
  21. Can I replace the TB injectors in my 1989 Pathfinder from the top without removing the TB? Tom
  22. I have never had a Flowmaster 50, but had a 40 on an Xterra for over three years with no issues with police because of the sound being too loud. The 40 on my Pathfinder sounds pretty tame compared to my Altima with a Magnaflow system, although it is not as quiet as the stock Nissan muffler was before it fell apart, after which it became extremely loud. Tom
  23. I just had to replace the muffler on my 1989 Pathfinder as the Nissan muffler finally gave it up to rust! I purchased a Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler 2.25" 42441 and it fit perfectly, with just a bit of modification. I cut the old muffler off and had two reducers made at the local muffler shop, 2 1/4" OD on one end and 1 7/8" ID on the other end. The 2 1/4" end fit perfectly inside the Flowmaster and the 1 7/8" end fit perfectly over the original exhaust pipe just like it was made for the application. The sound is great, and I am on the road again for $60! Tom
  24. Will the dual gas gauge cluster even work on a 88/89, is there a plug for the oil gauge and second gas gauge? Tom
