  1. V6 get it right mate. It's "Wabbits" not "Rabbits".
  2. Pezzy. No plans for any serious mods. Going to drive it for awhile first doing the things I plan on doing and then see if I need any mods. Most of the Offroad driving here in Western Oz that I will be doing is driving on the beach getting to my fav fishing spots. If it handles all of that ok then it will be staying as is. BUT I do plan on a few minor things which include: ARB Bullbar and Spotties Roof Racks for my fishing rods Spray on Bedliner Hard Tonnuea Cover or Canopy(Haven't decided) Dual Battery System Long Range Fuel Tank
  3. Well I am in officially in love. I only picked my new Navara up yesterday. I flew to Perth to pick it up yesterday and drove it home today. What a great vehicle!! So nice to drive!! And my fav part about it is that it's a Turbo Diesel and has more cup and drink bottle holders than you can poke a stick at. It did pretty reasonable on fuel considering it's the first tank and I was varying my speed alot on my way home. Anywhere from 70kph to 120kph. So far have done 520 kilometers on between 1/2 and 3/4 of a tank. I can honestly say it'd leave the Pathy in the dust on accleration. Was very suprised how much get up and go it has. I can't wait to get it out and get it dirty.
  4. Oxygen Sensor. Find where it is on the exhaust and follow the wiring back up into the engine bay until ya reach the plug. Then Unplug it and go for a drive. If all is good the O2 sensor is fooked and ya need a new one. Sure it'll run fine unplugged cuz I did it for 6 months, but it won't run at it's most efficient.
  5. Alot of it depends on what sort of climate you live in as well. Here in Western Australia where I live with a winter temp of 5-10 degrees F as the absolute lowest and 50-60 during the day you'd run a different oil than if you lived in Canada where it's -30 in the morning and -5 during the day. It's also about 100-120 degrees F during the day in summer here too. Here's a handy link to have a read of: http://www.aa1car.com/library/motor_oil_605.htm
  6. Navara has been ordered. Just waiting on a confirmation of the delivery date. Should be next week at the latest. Gave them 3 color choices in order of preference. Hopefully get my top choice of Silver. But don't wanna wait if it'll take months to get. Ordered the top of the line turbo diesel with auto. Yeah I knw auto but all the driving here is all beach work. Auto's are much better for that.
  7. Whoevers fault it is just remember it's never your own. Because people are longer responsible for their own actions. Maybe we could sue someone over this?
  8. Getting a 2007/2008 Nissan Navara real soon and the Pathfinder will have to go. Use whatever cash I get for it to buy a canopy, ARB Bar, Spotties etc...Depends how much I get for the old girl. It's almost a new Pathfinder..kinda like 3/4 of one.
  9. Yeah sorry for that! I think that pic was taken at around 9am though. Hopefully I'll still be accepted here when the Pathfinder gets sold very soon. But hey still be driving a Nissan, albeit a 2007 Navara. Test drove one on the weekend and I am sold! The turbo diesel is very nice! One last trip coming up as a thanks to the Pathy. Heading north to a beautiful spot here in Western Australia called Coral Bay. Can't wait. Use up some of the 19 weeks vacation I have on the books!
  10. Yeah I will.....Where's the pic thread????
  11. Anyway thanks I got the bulb replaced. Thanks for ya help. Had the old girl for about 2 years now. Fixing all the little bits up cause unfortunately I am going to sell her. All is not lost though. Buying a 2007/2008 Nissan Navara ST-X with the 2.5l Turbo Diesel. Not sure if they are called that in the US or not. Pretty much the same platform as the new Pathfinder(here anyway).
  12. Pretty I read that when they come to Australia in 2009 they will be $150,000 Aussie dollars. But ATM we are at about 90 cents to 1 USD. So that price may well go down if they exchange rate stays the same. At any rate awesome car I can't afford.
  13. LOL yes I think someone said that when I first posted that pic. I've got real looking hair now...as in alot more of it!
  14. There is no such thing as being personally responsible for anything we do anymore. Isn't it always someone elses fault? Maybe the local government should have put up a sign warning that copious alcohol consumption leads to gratuitous sex. "It's difficult to take the Bar Association seriously on this matter when, in their own submission, they concluded that just because a woman was asleep or unconscious (it) doesn't negate consent." ^^^LOL isn't that called marriage?
  15. Yes that's me. Now please delete that pic from this thread!
  16. OK thanks. Next question. HTF do I get the bulb out. Tried pulling and twisting it from the back. No luck yet.
  17. Hi all, Been a member previously, but bought a new PC and couldn't remember my member details. Haven't posted much but always dropped in for a read. I used to be SteveWA I think. I am from Western Australia. Anyhoots have what may be a stupid question and may differ from country to country now that I think about it. One of my high beams is out. After looking at it I can't really tell if it's a sealed beam light or if I can just change the bulb. Don't wanna get too rough with it as being a 94 model don't wanna go snapping any plastic pulling on the back of the plug. Any help appreciated. Thanks! Steve
