Time for another update.. finally scratched enough pennies together to pick up some much needed suspension! Stock JY springs off a 95 and Rancho 5000's on all four corners. I bet the truck didnt ride this good off the car lot! Hot dayum!! Headin up to Sylvester this morning with DVO..gonna take the day and test/break in the new bits YEAH BABY YEAH!!!

I run a '93 SE with over 235,000K and that switch still works.. Sport makes the ride a little stiffer, Touring is a softer ride. i think the best way figure out the LSD switch might be to turn it "on" and lift up yer rear axle and spin a tire..see if both wheels turn the same direction.. i dont have the lsd switch..i just lifted mine up to see if i had the lsd or not. If im wrong im sure someone will correct me Folx around here KNOW about Pathy's

Wow!! Took a long time but i finally got Marvin in the shop for some much need repair. Gettin all 4 ball joints done on this bill. I scored a grease gun..GRATIS! How many grease nipples are under the front end? also gotta put in a claim for a new windsheild. I've picked up a pair of stock springs. Just need some shocks and the means/knowledge to swap it all out. i would like to get shocks for the front as well and do all 4 corners at the same time. Will i need to replace the torsion bars too? I find it incredible how fast all this kinda stuff can pile up on ya.. a'ell..trucks gettin fixed and very soon i'll be back on the trails!

the Manik bushbar is what i had on mine until some (expletive deleted) stole the truck and stripped all my goodies. It looked great...but i found it to be more hinderance than help. Installation requires removing the front tow hooks and the bushbar wasnt very strong. I bent it pretty quickly when i had to use it as a recovery point. After it got bent i had a miserable time tryin to keep it from rubbing on the corner of the truck and even gettin to the hood release. I'm curious to see if any mods will take care of those issues.. keep us posted

got everything fixed up...pulled the stereo out and found some uncovered wires. Seems my bro cut off one to many harnesses and forgot to cover the cut wires from it. i'm guessing the dimmer was connected to that somehow? maybe? in any case..i dont consider it a great loss..i got my lights without blowin fuses and i got a cd player in my pathy..im good!

Finally got an aftermarket cd player for my pathy... Instead of going in to the shop and having it put in my brother convinced me that he could do it for me. Yesterday we found the wiring diagrams from installdr.com (search works!)..got it all hooked up..tossed a couple Alpine 5x7's in the rear. Everything seemed to be working alright. Lost of the dimmer switch for the dash..but who cares, right? This morning i went out and started the truck..everything still worked fine. I got about 2 blocks down the road and lost all my dash lights and marker/running lights. Before i went into work i tossed a new fuse in the box and tried again. The lights lasted about 5 seconds and blew the fuse again. Anyone have any ideas? i dont know anything about wiring and electrical..thats my bro's deptartment. But any info i can pass on to him will greatly increase my chances of gettin it all back to right. HAAALP!!!!!!!! Skwerly

Nothing to worry about Zibi..i've been up there quite a few times and never hurt my truck..worst was mebbe some bush rash. Just give Smithk plenty of room...he'll find the trouble if it's out there I'm out of this one for rather obvious reasons.. but have fun and get a bunch of pics!

I hope so..they deserve something special! In any case..truck has been recovered..its in the shop now. Bushbar, spare tire and spoiler are gone. Some interior damage.. front end is toasted. Windshield smashed. Contents were stolen..including my sons booster seat! WTF?!?!?! Going to take some time to get it back up to good shape again...but i got my buddy back!

Hey all.. just want to put the word out that my Pathy has been stolen. Happened sometime on the night of the 26th, from my parking lot. I shouldn't really be surprised..i live in Surrey. I am, however, seriously pissed. If i knew how, i'd toss up a pic..however there is one that can be found in the DEC 07 TOTM thread, #7. IF someone happens to spot the truck please call 911 and report it. Thanks

Mine's a hurtin unit...savin pennies for a pretty hefty repair bill. Gotta do lower ball joints, bearings and centerlink. Figure about 800 bux to get it all done. Until then i get to roam and wander all over the roads. Hitting the brakes is interesting..i know it gonna pull when i step on the pedal..i just never know which way im gonna go! I'm also thinkin i might need new springs in the rear..trucks leaning to the right back there... Just gotta get thru the xmas crap and i can start gettin this @!*%e done. With any luck i'll get enuff repairs done to do some snow wheelin

We're all around here somewheres...i'm down in Scurvey..err..surrey. i havent been very active on this board since i havent been wheelin over the past several months.. gimpy truck will do that i guess on the plus side..i'm slowly gettin Marvin beat back into shape..got brakes done and got a leaking rear axle seal replaced..next up is steering (tie rod and drag link) and then some decent shox mebbe

hmm.. i don't think i got my question worded right I had figured it'd be a swing out carrier... but the pathy opens out to the right and the jeep opens out to the left (have i got that right?) Which direction will these ones open? I'm just curious...

those look really good.. will the Pathy version of the tire carrier swing the same as the Jeeps or will they be flipped to swing as i'm used to?

Most of us use our trucks as multi purpose..mines the "family wagon" mon - fri and then gets used and abused on the w/e's these are tough rigs..and capable beyond anything your likely to need Welcome to NPORA!

I tried my a/c for the first time yesterday (got him last Oct)...cant stand it myself but the wife an skids were complaining. Holy power loss! I couldn't believe the difference!! Let us know when/if you do the 'lectric swap and if it makes any noticable difference..

Just filled Marvin(93 SE) this mornin..143.9/l, 90-sum bux.. almost 50 km's to and from work. I just slow down, go light on the skinny pedal and use the wife's Olds Acheiva for errands and shtuff. I knew when i got Marvin i was gonna pay thru the nose for fuel, insurance (ICBC crooks) etc. I'll accept it and be on my way..It's worth it to have a decent, capable 4x4 that hauls whatever i throw at it!!

DVO had the camera.. was a good day! by the time i got home the inside of the truck was brown from the dust...the outside started the trip home brown too but we ran into some rainy type crap that cleaned it off! DVO spent a good portion of time sideways..gotta love loose gravel corners. It's a bit more of a drive to get to there but with longer days here..it's worth it! we'll be going back a few times this summer
