  1. yeah i was just testing it, i didn't spray the inside of the pads, just through the little holes of my steelies onto the rotor a few times. but yeah the problem goes away for a day or two. So i guess im just going to have to step it up to the EBC Brake pads, or take of the tires and take a look at what's up once again, i had my buddy look at it, he spun the rotor around by hand and then put the tire back on. after that no noise, as i told him i swore there was noise, so he test drove it. and nothing, then he left and i got in about 10 minutes later, noise. so yeah i doubt its hub issues, but thanks for the input everyone, i really appreciate it.
  2. so i changed my front brake pads, for a day or two it was fine then i started hearing what sounds like grinding/rubbing. I looked at the rotors and they look okay... it seems when i spray wd40 on the brakes, they perform okay for a day or so... anyone?
  3. jeeps are not allowed in the garage.
  4. The older r50's you'll have to most likely fix it up, unless the previous owner was a good man...or woman. Just look for the common things, test drive it, make sure the transmission is in good condition. Note: r50's can ride on 31" Tires on stock suspension, you will rub in reverse, but it is what it is, id recommend a 2" lift. The truth is id feel like a jack ass if i took a $13,000 rig off road and banged it up, versus taking a $3,000 rig and just having a good time with it. I have a 97. Good Luck man.
  5. So i did the passenger side with no problem, what parts are needed for the Driver side, and how difficult is it to do it? does anyone know the name of the gaskets, one of my mechanic friends something about a plemmel or something i didnt quite understand him, but i figure someone here would know what parts are needed and if they need to be special ordered. thanks.
  6. hah this is ironic. the other day i wondered what itd be like with no doors. i even stopped at a light and opened my door to see how it was connected. and then i saw all the wiring and i was like..naw..
