not really sure, but i think the pin that keeps the gear in the right spot on the shaft broke. I think that is because i was trying to turn the rotor to get it off and it broke.

i think i might of messed it up bad. I might need to just try to re time it again and start over the timing marks on the crank shaft what mark does it have to be on. There are a few of them.

well I found the screw but its just stuck on the shaft. I'm about to go outside and fight it some more.

I was the one with the problem and it's now fixed. My problem was that where the bolts and the holes lineup was off. I thought the caliper was bent but it wasn't. Just like Precise1 said the problem was the pin that holds the holes in place were stuck. I picked up a set from auto zone it was the only place still open. It was just the matter of finding the right adjustment and everything was fine. I didn't really see that as being the problem by the way it was acting, but it was. Also everything else was fine. I know that sounds silly, oh well life goes on. p.s. thanks for the help

It's really just the normal wear parts that I am talking about. Sorry for not stating that.

About how much would it cost for me to rebuild the front end myself vs paying someone to do it. The problem I have is time, it may be just easier to pay someone to do it for me. I have a 95 pathy I am talking about a full rebuild.
