I had the same issue with mine and after 7 hours of diagnosing it turned out to be the neutral safety switch. Replaced that and problem solved -
I'm looking for a swingout tire carrier for a 97 r50 with all the necessary hardware to install. I am prepared to pay all shipping costs. Any help would be appreciated

I got a new key fob for my 97 r50 and followed the instructions to the letter for programming. The hazards flashed as they should but the remote still doesn't work. Any suggestions as to what I can do to make it work? I checked the fuses and all is good and I replaced some faulty door switches with junkyard replacements and no door open light on the dash so I'm stumped as to what the problem is. Any suggestions would be appreciated
