  1. Did you get this fixed yet? If not... I pulled the fan and fanclutch off of my old 1988 Nissan Pathfinder, and I'll sell it to you for cheap! I can't warranty this part, but it worked when my truck last ran, and it spins free by hand right now.

  3. I had a VERY serious life threating problem that went on for months. He didn't key my car, but he stole a great deal of my things, threaten my life, assaulted me, and stalked me all over from work to the store, to the court house, even almost to home. Finally the guy gets arrested for something not even related to me, but I had talked to the police soo many times agout him. He'd been arrested several times before I was unfortunate enough to meet him. I end up moving further away a second time, and started buying firearms. A few years go past, I forget about the scumbag. Then I got a message on my answering machine from him: "AARON, IS THAT YOU? YOU PIECE OF #$%! YOU'RE HIDING OUT IN LIVERMORE? I'M GOING TO FIND YOU!!!" *slam* He will get out of jail, and no, he's not going to change. Infact he might be even more pissed off at you, and he might even try to cause harm to you.
  4. The saga isn't over. I know from personal experience. He'll get out of jail. and he'll be really pissed off.
  5. Sometimes being on the bottom is more fun.
  6. Changing fluid capacities on specifically designed/engineered systems can really screw things up. Heck I thought that removing the thermostat would help keep things cooler, right? I asked around and the consenus was that (learning from doing) without that thermostat there to restrict the flow, the engine wouldn't transfer enough heat to the radiator, (the water wasn't staying put long enough to heat up) and the block would overheat! Rather than just 'shooting from the hip' and changing factors in a ballanced system, it would be best to mod up your truck rather than converting it. By this I mean, the addition of an aftermarket fan to aid the radiator in it's coolling is the best thing to do. Probably the cheapest. Certainly the easiest! This is of course, taking the assumption that your engine is clean, and isn't covered in dirt and grease (which traps in heat). And thinking that you're smart enough to have flushed the radiator a couple time during your ownership. Oh, BTW I have a radiator shroud in my back yard that I pulled off my 1988 Nissan. If you don't have one, you'll be amazed how much it helps. I'll sell it to ya for cheap, if you're interested.
  7. Never leave home without the most important, critical items: First Aid Kit Shovel Check Book Maglight MREs Big Knife Rifle Pistol
  8. Nice rig... I like the way you guys spell tires too!
  9. I want a mount on my bumper so I can shoot my brownings off my nissan!
  10. This happend to me a few months back, and I posted about it on another site. Fan stays on, lots of roaring and windy noise, with power loss. It's a failed fan clutch. It should move freely when the engine is off. Does it? I bet it doesn't. According to the dealer, the fan clutches are starting to fail on all the older nissans, and they've started to stock new ones in all the parts departments.
  11. A low tire on one side can cause your vehicle to pull to the side. It takes a load of force. try pushing a dead vehicle on level ground. Not too hard, eh? now lower the air pressure 15 PSI in the tires. The feat becomes nearly impossible. Yes, it'll suck up major HP and reduce mileage. Not only is there more friction, but you're folding and reshaping rubber every bit you move. And the edge of the tire, the spot that hits the road, the part that's warping and folding over in low pressure situations, is on the outside diameter of the tire; which has the advantage of a LOAD of leverage upon your drivetrain!
  12. Say hello to my little fren! Military 5 Ton Tractor Truck, 6x6. 18,560 pounds of pure hauling power over any terrain. She can drive over your 85 Blazer Sliverado, smash it into a pancake... and not even take a dent.
  13. I love the PF forest green color. But mine is the greenish-blueish color.
  14. I get this exact same problem when my brake fluid level goes too low. I open the lid, pour a few ounces of fluid in and ITS FIXED! For about 8 months, until it happens again...
  15. I picked up the Warn XD9000 since it's the largest winch that will fit in the ARB Bullbar. The XD9000i does not!
  16. Next time I break an exhaust manifold, maybe I'll buy some of those fancy things
  17. Yes. I paid way too much to have my passenger side one fixed years ago. Now my Drivers side is busted and I didn't want to pay that... So I had a buddy at Nissan hook me up with a bunch of parts. now I can have it done cheaper!
