  1. Might be preaching to the choir, but just wanted to share to those that might not know. Asked my dad who’s been in the parts business longer than my current life span about transmission fluid additives that would actually make difference in performance. He said LubeGard Platinum is the only thing he’d put in a transmission. I took his advice and it’s mad an immense difference in transmission performance. Worth every penny. 2. Yeah unfortunately 2wd. Though with enough know how you can still have fun. An extra 2 inches is a good start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks. It was a one owner that bought it new in Hawaii and then shipped here to Oregon when they moved. Got really lucky. Zero rust except the oem muffler. Mostly working on engine related stuff for now. Did bank 1 cat, trans fluid and filter change. Oem exhaust snapped in 1/2 right before the resonator going over a speed bump of all things. So I replaced it with a cat back magnaflow “2 inch pipe and “3 inch tip. Just gotta take care of valve cover gaskets and then I can get on to the fun stuff lol. Any suggestions? Also only has 140k on her. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Stock for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Definitely. After looking into I’m keeping the stock air box with the drop in k and n In it currently. I’m quite sure a “cold” air intake might actually do more harm than good. With out tuning some things and recalibrating the computer to the new air flow. I also don’t think it gives you “cooler” by any means. If anything it’s just ambient air from the engine bay, which could actually be hotter than where the stock air box pulls air from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Cool will do. Also thinking of just getting a pop charger for now until I decide what kind of intake hose I want to make or buy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Duely noted. I live in the Northwest and we experience a lot of rain, just wanted to clarify. The image of the cone filter you attached is broken.
  8. Frontier and Pathfinder call for different intake hoses I’ll have to do some research Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Good to know. And it might be a dumb question but i shouldn’t have to worry about water getting in the intake? Under the assumption the frontier and pathfinder would receive air the same way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I cannot find a k and n cold air intake for my 99 XE. However they sell one For the frontier with same engine. Would it be safe and applicable to buy the kit for the frontier and install on the pathfinder? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
