  1. Yeah every I have looked said the rancho are trash. I was looking at the Bilstein shocks 5100 shocks ..https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00BYNJ7KG/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all they seem like what I am looking for.
  2. Will I need to extend the brake cables or can I just install them with out doing that?
  3. So I need to shock and strut. Now I have Flurry's 2" spacer in right now and want to know what is the best after market shock and struts to install? I don't do to much wheeling or at least flexing but would be nice to have the option. I have read everywhere that I might have to replace the break lines to make it fit the new stock. Any thought suggestion would be great.
  4. They are so expensive. It almost seems worth having them custom made
  5. So who got rockslider and what are recommendations? Should I just make my own? Or should I buy them? Well ons or bolt on lets here what you all have to say.
  6. oh it get even better I thought I got the 2" lift kit but I guess my mother who order the kit for my birthday get me the 3" lift haha so that is why my CV keeps popping out. Oh what an a lovely time. Measure twice install once haha
  7. Hey everyone hope you all have a save and wonderful weekend. To those of you who have served for our country Thank You. You are the reason we get to be here doing this everyday. Feel Free to Post your picture from the weekend here.
  8. Oh yeah and the new sway bars have zerk fitting going to grease those up all the time lol. The fun of working on truck is the fact that when one thing break it mean you saved yourself from it happening on the trail.
  9. Not in what I have read. Every where I have looked it eats about 1 quart per 1000miles. My mechanic and his whole shop said the same thing when I went in for my annual check up. They all said it just like the oil and they have never seem a cat or Emission fail because of it.
  10. So thought Y'all would enjoy my pain. So this last wed I was installing a the space for a 2" lift. I go as far as getting the from driver side strut out and then has a hell of a time getting it back in after having the 2" space on. I then pop out the CV joint and then had the cv gasket cut by the strut with putting it back on. I then realized there was a easier way and felt like a dumbass but I was able to replace both CV axel and sway bars. I will up load before and after pics soon.
  11. Thank you all for the input. I guess I will just have to buy oil and gas. They should of made this a 2 cycle engine and we would of just used mixed gas haha
  12. Not leaking at all that I can see. I am 100% sure it is eating the oil. I have been told about those fixes and looked into them but everyone said it did not change how much oil it was eating tho. Did redoing the valve cover gasket help with it eating oil?
  13. HI Y'all, I did not know this about the v6 3.5 liter egine in my 2002 pathy eats oil like its going out of style it about a quart every 1000 miles. Every where I read say this is a common problem is that true for you as well? Has any one found a fix for this I know lots of people say to change out the PCV valve but everyone say it did fix the problem any thoughts?
  14. I had this code come on yesterday while wheeling. I also had one for the O2 sensor behind the cat.now I was think I put premium in the tank and was about 7 thousand feet in elevation. I also have 147k on it and was hopping this was not a big deal any thoughts?
  15. Yeah I see for the pathy it is a lot of custom things that is ok mean I can get what I really want. Thank you for the great info.
  16. Oh Yeah DUH! That make so much sense. Well thank you for all the info. Just wondering you know of any place that makes a good after mark front bumper or a tire carrier for the back of the pathy?
  17. Oh nice why did you go lower then what you had originally? Was it for looks? Sorry so many question but you seem to have your Pathy dialed in.
  18. Yeah that was my worries was the stress on the CV's that why I was thinking of doing a 2" all around first then when I have the time and money to replace the cv's I would do the taller lift. What are you currently running right now?
  19. Hey thank you guys. Now Question about what lift height I was think the 2.5"-3" but what do you guy think? I do have to drive the Pathy about 100miles to my nearest trail. I live close to Tahoe Ca so the Rubicon is something I have been wanting to do in my own rig for awhile. Any thoughts? Also with the stock struts and shocks has any one experience a lot of topping out?
  20. Hey Y' All, I am trying to find someone that has use this lift kit https://sfcreation.com/products/2-all-around-lift-kit. I feel like the plastic can't be that durable but I have no idea anyone have any thoughts? Thanks
