The other possibility is the new plug wire is leaking and when it is in the plug well it is arcing over to the head instead of sparking the plug. I have never heard of it with a new wire though. Is there any whitish discoloration anywhere on the wire to evidence arcing?

I am an amateur in fabrication, so take this with a lump of salt, but personally I would go with either square or round tube.
I used 1 1/2" x 1/8" square tube.

I think he is missing fuel. So the plug would still be sparking away but no detonation. That's why I asked if the valve was opening, because that is about the only way to get a no fuel condition to a single cylinder on a tbi, a stuck closed valve.
Especially considering that the compression is good so we know that the exhaust valve is closing completely.
Does the plug look like it is lean?

I found that when I hit something with outer wings that it transferred the energy to the point where the bottom edge of the lower panel met the center section and bent the center section there. For reference my center is 1/4" plate and the outer is 1/8". I have a peice of square tube welded down low on the 1/4" plate spanning the gap for lateral support. I should have made sure that the lower panel edge and the square tube were in the same spot because of that energy transfer. Instead, my tube is about 3 to 4 inches lower.

Is he sure the intake valve is opening? I have never heard of issues with Nissan cams, but Chevy was notorious for cam lobes rounding off.
The only thing that is missing is fuel, since he has spark, compression and correct timing.

I really like this one. If I could only find it a little bigger and not shipped from China.
At one point I checked with Fluerys to see if he would make a NPORA tire cover, but it was a no go. Logistics of sourcing the blank tire cover in Canada made the end product too expensive, if I remember correctly.
I have seen the same tire cover you have on Amazon for around $45. Might be an option for others.

Repaired the cracked weld on the bumper. The 220v welder from horrible fright got better penetration than the 110v Miller so it should hold.

What are the symptoms of a faulty bypass? I am assuming that it will release too slowly, but it still fully releases?

The lights weren't working on the climate control cluster. Pulled it out, turns out the main connector wasn't plugged in all the way. Now I have full lights on the dash.

That is exactly what I did. I even bought a belt tensioning tool to achieve the 22 lbs of pressure on the belt. It isn't too bad to do.
This is the one I bought on Amazon.

And most any feeler gauge of that thickness is about .5" wide.

I believe you can request a copy of the police report. They draw little sketches of what happened and where. Might help.

Are those double lip seals? If not, give that a try. McGuire Bearing should be able to find those seals in a double lip configuration. They have a store in Tacoma, don't know if they have one in your area.

Over the weekend I spent about 7 hours in the Pathy, and determined that the seat is horrible. Makes sense, it is 25 years old with 256000 on it.
I believe I have two options, either new springs and padding for the seat, a rebuild, or new seats. I would like new seats, maybe with adjustable lumbar. Does anyone know if the seats out of something else will fit? Xterra, maybe, or really anything. Mustang seats are nice. Any ideas?

Shift points are more based on RPM instead of speed for manual. If it has a tow mode, just use that and let the auto work.
