  1. Simple, get a pair of fog lights from a junk yard for dirt cheap, modify them to fit those, and you're all set. Or modify the ones you have and if you need to switch back to OEM for whatever reason, get a pair from a JY. Those bulbs looks great, projector lens and all!

Yeah, the bulbs look great... But here is difficult to have access to a JY as in the US... I will look for some used or something to do the experiment... 👍

  2. I used one of these online instructions... I remember to insert the key 8 times in less than 10 seconds....

Another isuue you need tomknow is the code of the remote... My 2000 Pathfinder was build in december 1999... Somthe code of the remote is KBRASTU09, for Pathfinders made from january 2000 the code is KBRASTU10.... Etc... You have to find out wich code is your remote control...

  3. Welcome DDC03!!

I have a 2000 Pathfinder SE Superlux, no lift... I use it with my wife for everyday riding and make trips in the country... We have made 2.600 km trips, with some light offroading...

I have been using Firestone Destination AT 265 70 R16, ... For now they have been preforming really good for our needs...

  4. Today I received the led bulb for the Pathfinder fog lights....

    They look good...

    image_zpsoa1ndq7w.jpeg

But they do not fit in the case.. The bulbs are too large and the case has a square hole that is too small for the led bulb diameter...

I think i am going to make a lamp with them... Hahahahahahah

Maybe I can modify the case.. But i do not want to do it...

  5. This might be a silly question, but is there an off road cell phone car mount?

I have never used one, so I have been looking a lot of those and I really do not know what to buy...

Wich car mount do you use? Pros? Cons?

    Thanks.

  6. Today I cleaned the "C" ring and washed the belts... I did something similar to this guy... I wash them twice and rinse them 3 or 4 times...

Plus.... Re-disassemble the seat belt mechanism... put more turs on the "coil" to get more tension... and reassemble... It worked really well...

    Now they work like new.!

  7. If the sunroof is the same as an R50, the holes are located at the front, on the corners... They might be coveres with mud or debris.... you do not need to take the rubber out... That happend to me...

In a rainy day the sunroof star to leak water through the interior onf the truck... the drain holes where covered with mud and debris....

  8. Today I recieved the cabin air filter... The Pathy does not have from factory so I have to cut the air box and do what I have to do to get them installed. I will take some pictures and do a mini tutorial for it.

  9. I bought the filter thought ebay... So I need it to be delivered at my house.. but most sellers did not ship to Colombia or the shipping was too expensive... So i bough a really cheap chinese free shipping filters.... The problem was that the filterdoes not fit properly on the box...

So... I have to trim some plastic parts and glue them, and glue some foam in the filter to avoid air leaking...

  10. My 2000 Pathfinder R50, does not have the cabin air filter, so I decided to install it and do a mini tutorial for it.

    1. Unclip the plastic pieces that are located uder the glovebox, they will pop easily. If your Pathy still have the string that holds the glovebox remove it... I did not have.. no photo...

    2. Unbolt these 6 screws.

    002_zps75j4aoym.jpg

    3. Cut the plastic box with a cutter or mototool or hacksawblade, it will brake easily. You have to cut it in the inner line.

    003_zpsr0pksbcq.jpg

    4. Clean the new hole and make the filter fit, I did some cleaning with the vacuum cleaner and turning on the fan...

    003b_zpsmxeewotd.jpg

I notice that the air box has like a metal filter inside... Just took the picture and continued with the install....

  11. To day I tried to fix my front driver and passenger seat belts.. they were to slow...

So I search in the forum for intructions, I found them... And disassemble the seat belt mechanism... put more turs on the "coil" to get more tension... and reassemble... and nothing... Still to slow...

Next step... I will try cleaning the belt... And cleaning the "C" ring...

    Some photos during the disassemble...
