Curious .....
Since this is a Canadian vehicle and the instrument cluster is in Kilometers ... is the wiring harness the same for a US Spec instrument cluster or will I have to get another Canadian cluster ?

Its just a factory yakima wind deflector
I suspect a cluster ... not a harness or edu as the vehicle has zero drive issues.

I had a 98 nissan frontier that had the same problem . Thx !
Im on it !
Maybe eaiser to just call my account with the wrecker and get a replacement speedo .
That connected to the heater fan ?
Or is that the diode I have been reading about ?
Also forgot to mention a faint battery light on in the cluster.
Been here since 90

So Im well versed in mechanics and I just bought this canadian 95 pathfinder here in Bend Oregon.
Has substantial rust but its straight and $1000.
Im having trouble figuring out why my speedo , tach , coolant gauge and heater fan dont work.
Fan fuse is good .
Battery and alternator are good .
where to go from here ?

EGR - exhaust gas re circulation valve.
All the components were talking about are monitored by the ECU so logic would dictate if there was a fault in them , even once warm (meaning the car has gone thru a run cycle and all sensors have kicked in and CTS has told the ecu to lien out the mixture due to the fact that coolant temps are at operating specs ) that there should be fault codes.
If none exist then its a non monitored item ..... like a fuel pump.
