I have owned my 2001 LE 4wd for 3 years. I purchased it after deciding I was done with car payments. I used the car as everyday driver as trips to mountains for camping etc. I was always impressed how it handled fire roads. I now own another daily driver so I am finally able to do what I wanted to do with my Pathy. 2 days after I bought another car the tranny went out on the pathy. It's like she new she couldn't let me down until i had another car. She now has 220K on her and a new tranny, I expect her to go another 200K. I am so glad I found this forum to help me accomplish all the goals I have for her.

  1. I just found all my answers. Not sure how to delete this thread? Sorry still getting used to searching various words etc.
  2. Hi guys I just slapped new tires on the Pathy. I had Falken 265/55/16 AT on my stock wheels. A buddy warrantied them out for me knowing I was going to be lifting the truck. I went with Cooper 265/75/16 which currently sit on my stock wheels. I do have clearance from the bottom of the strut but barely any. The fender wells rub in reverse but ill trim that up. If I run spacers I want to be able to use Warn hubs. Some of the spacers I have researched say not for use with manual hubs. I'm thinking that 1 inch should do the trick? Or should I go 1.5 inches. Also if I buy steel wheels which I might what back spacing would alleviate the concern of wheel rubbing strut? Thanks
  3. I have a 2001 LE and just installed cooper adventurer 265/75/16. There is very little clearance at strut. Its not rubbing going forward but it rubs in reverse when hard cranking either way. Did I go to big? Its currently stock height with all new shocks struts control arms bushings etc. No slack everything is tight up front. My bearings do need to be replaced. They were quite before but after leaving tire shop they grumble unless its tires. Any insight on this?
  4. Hi there! I am also owner of same model here in northern CA. I am just starting my adventure on my pathy. I am in Roseville outside Sacramento . I go to forest hill area frequently. I look forward to watching your pathy develop and mine as well.
