  1. HAPPY B.DAY 89PATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Just saw the preview for the new episode of dirty jobs. Hes goin salvage diving or something like that. Looked to be a 2 door on the bottom of a lake they are gonna be dragging up.
  3. Alright problem solved, i took a section of the old tailpipe, welded it back on, so now it goes up and dumps out over the rear axle.
  4. Lately when it has been raining, or when i haul ass through a big puddle, water is splashing up on something in the engine bay thats not supposed to be wet. I am thinking something in the ignition. But the truck just will not start. It will turn over forever, i can smell gas but it just wont fire. If i sit there and just turn it over and over for at least 5 minutes it will eventually sputter and start. And then it will run fine. Anybody ever have a similar problem? Or have a guess as to what it could be?
  5. Just wondering if anyone with a cut off exhaust have trouble in deep puddles? Last year my tailpipe got crushed by a rock when i was four wheeling, so i cut it off right after the muffler. This year when i have gone wheeling the muffler fills up with water and the truck stalls. It will start right back up but there is tons of steam pouring out of the muffler. And it bogs down quite a bit. I was just curious because ive seen several trucks with nothing after the muffler.
  6. Alright well my ride to school this morning never showed up. So i figured what the hell, turned the key and bam started right up. Im thinking something in the ignition could have been wet, it had been raining pretty hard.
  7. Drove my pathy home from school yesterday no problems. Went to start it this morning, turned over but wouldnt fire. Thought i was maybe out of gas, put a gallon or two in. Turned the key and the same thing happened. I could smell gas when i pumped the throttle but nothing happened. I thought id ask you guys before i tow it to the garage to have it looked at. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
  8. Thats what ive been using on my pathy with 230k since i bought it and it works great.
  9. In petersons offroad magazine, they converted a jeep 4 door wrangler to a diesel. Then proceeded to drive it on both highways and trails. Im not trying to say your wrong, but i think they would know the laws about converting vehicles to diesel and diesel to gas. This could be because it was a cummins from a dodge i believe, and if im not mistaken both jeep and dodge are owned by chrystler.
  10. So if you were getting out of your rig and you push the lock down, and all the doors lock and you close the door it dosent stay locked?
  11. what do you mean it unlocks when you push it down?
  12. Did alittle better than a buddy of mine when he first tried, topped it off all the way to the valve cover i believe.
  13. Should be a fuse diagram on the door of the fusebox. yeah i just hit 230k last month and shes still running.
  14. In the fuse box door isnt a bad spot. If your talking about an illegal substance, putting a baggy of something in your gas door, just wrap it around the gas cap or something works aswell. If your in a rush to hide something quick yank out your ashtray and stuff whatever inside and pop the tray back in. Getting it out is gonna be a pain in the ass but it might be better than getting busted.
