it's not in bad shape it's actually in pretty decent shape but i want it black to match the final tone of what i want. basically it'll be black interior with red trim. pretty much opposite of what the exterior is. what about D21's same thing with the dash?

VG30E nothing fancy yet, I plan on putting at 3" cone air filter on it. I've seen ways to do it so I feel pretty comfortable doing it. interior could use and will be getting some work. I plan on doing a red on black theme as red's my favorite color but to do it purely red would be a bit much for me. does anyone know if any '94's were made with a black dash or will I have to paint it?

I'm sure I'll have fun in this long and laborious journey. I enjoy being outside and plan on doing a bunch more camping in a few weeks.

I got my pathy a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. 1994 XE vg30e (nothing fancy yet) It's so much more fun to drive than my plymouth acclaim After I got the first few issues fixed, it wouldn't start so I had narrowed it down to the distributor thanks to some help from the guys here, and I put an exhaust on it cause I didn't want to run around without one plus it would back fire so bad it was undriveable after it got hot. I still need to take a look at the o2 sensor, clean up the egr valve system, and I'd like to replace the vacuum lines as the truck is 20 years old now. After I get those couple things fixed I'll be good to hopefully start taking a look at some of the more fun things to fix and add. I have a vision of what I'd like it to become and I'll be glad to get there. It'll be a slow process but I'm glad my coworkers are gearheads, I work at O'Reilly auto parts as a delivery driver so I'll have the help I need close to home, plus all the knowledge and experience of pathies here. Because no matter how gearheaded they are none of them have pathfinders and don't really work on them. I'll get pics tomorrow after work when it's light. -Travis

I'm sorry guys i forgot to post that it has been fixed. it ended up being the distributor picked one up from the JY for $50 and it starts right up.

won't i need to get coils for the front as well? if not how does that work?

I had my check engine light on in my 94 wd21 vg30e and just put it on the computer and it read three different codes. It read a code 32 (EGR circuit), 33 (o2 sensor), and code 34 (detonation sensor or circuit). I knew the O2 sensor would have to be replaced when i bought the truck and it's simple enough i just need to do it. I'm unsure where to start trouble shooting the code 32, is it as simple as changing the EGR valve? and I do not know what the code 34 even means neither did my dad (mechanic for quite a long while). any help at this point would be greatly helpful. http://www.thenissanforums.com/nissan-pathfinder/45873-95-pathfinder-engine-light-code-34-detonation-anyinfo.html this is all i was really able to find out about the code 34 issue it helps shed a little light on the issue but still no help in solving what's wrong. any help is greatly appreciated, or even somewhere to start other than taking it to a shop and having them look at it cause i'm broke.

just wondering I found a R50 console and was wondering is $50 is a reasonable price. i know it's a used part and $50 does seem like a decent price but i'm gathering info on what others have paid for the same part to see if i should walk to get it.

is $50 for an R50 console from a JY a reasonable price? it seems pretty reasonable to me but i'm just wondering what the going rate is or what others have paid for theirs.

i have a '94 wd21 without a tire carrier how do i shut the light off? i've tried looking in the chilton manual but can't seem to find any sort of switch or relay to take out to get the light to go off. it's kind of annoying i plan on getting a carrier when i can afford one but there's other issues in front of that. so until then can someone point me in the right direction to turning off the silly light in the dash? please and thank you. -Travis

I'm looking around to see about getting a 3" suspension lift kit for my '94 WD21 but i'm not really finding anything. I am wondering if the lift kit for the Hardbody D21 would fit my WD21. if not where do you get your lifts? -Travis

I recently got a 1994 pathy. It is unable to start, it cranks but doesn't turn over. I have power up to the distributor but not sure what's wrong. i'm going to be getting an ECU and distributor from the JY and seeing if either one of those is the issue. please any suggestions as to what it may be will be greatly helpful cause i'm at witts end trying to figure this damn thing out.
