Some more of the front Plating the door handles and lock Onto the rears, went much faster and less photos
-
I started out by doing a little research found a 4runner with a similar setup that I wanted. I then began hacking away, I left the speaker mount intact I then welded on a back plate and cut that to match the front. I then built a little frame for some support some of it is pictured here. I also bent the latch rod and decided to put the handle on the top. Decided to go another route but I initially made a door for my door and welded nuts on the back. I decided I am going to make door panels now. Almost done with the front!

Well I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this so admin feel free to move it. I grabbed some spare doors for $75 and figured I'd chop them up and make some half doors. Some unfortunate events resulted in only 3 doors so I had to pick up the 4th door (really the 5th) from a junkyard. I accidentally melted one of the door latch assemblies as well and picked one up. Anyway I'll try and let the photos do most of the talking.

I'm sure these wont help much I was in a hurry when I put on my lift. Here are the jeep coils often used to accommodate the 4" sfd. Mine lifted my pathfinder 4" but some lift it 6". keep in mind the top pig tail was cut off and I did not lay it next to the stock coil. Wish I would have slowed down and taken better measurements.
-
In two weeks I'll get you dimensions of the stock coils and the dimensions of the commonly used jeep coil
-
You really shouldn't go past 2" in fact I don't think your cv angles can handle it. Your going to have to sfd to get anything more th a 2"

Hey guys I've posted this a few places hoping someone could help me out. I stacked 2" fluery spacers on top of my sfd. I only did one side but it looked extremely compressed after and only lifted it .5" the wheel was also very toed out. I'm not sure of I just screwed up installing it however I can't see how you could screw something like that up. It could be just to much pressure on the struts but I don't understand why that would be.

Glad to hear the good news Jon! it would have been sad to see this rig go. cheers!
-
however those look like good quality rock sliders!
-
I was planning on building my own rocksliders. I really hope I can build it for less the $350, I would imagine it would be no more than $150 homemade, and its got so much more character!

like they all said big breaker bar, pb blaster, heat and some man power should get them off!

doing sub frame drop having trouble with stut spacers
dustinp replied to MOhaire's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
did you get your SFD from KR fabs. I believe it should be a 12 degree angle but I am not sure. You will need an alignment after all is said and done regardless of how much it tows in. It may be possible that you lined up the wrong three holes as well.
