Most likely because as reverse gear has no synchro it's just a matter of aligning the teeth.

If you have a 2 Door Pathfinder could you post a pic

http://www.kut-snake.com/ Got them from this fella. He lives not far from me and gets the made locally. They're not bad, pretty solid once mounted up. I had to modify mine to clear the 33's though. Should be able to get a 32x11.5 in without having to alter them. -

I installed a set of hid's into my terrano but they don't have the moving part. Overall impressed with them but low beam seems a little to bright. Meaning I needed to adjust the lights tilting them down to stop the blinding. Losing a bit of the high beams effective distance but still 100% on nissans idea of lighting.

KUT-SNAKE.COM Freight charged might blow the cost out to much to make these ones affordable but worth checking out. -

If it was they'd be bloody busy booking people as every second 4wd around has one and as I travel the outback highways regularly (truck driver) most campers/travellers I see have at least a couple of Jerry's on board.Either in holders or strapped to roof racks etc.

G'day hamz welcome to the neighbourhood. I'm a couple of hundred k's south from you in bunbury. Best place for you to look for a Pathy would be on gumtree.com.au Plenty to choose from on there, happy hunting

Hey dave welcome to the forum. Gotta say 'that's different' and I kinda like it. I've heard of a few people talk about putting the coil rear into a ute to get some articulation happening but your approach is probably an easier way of doing it. Look forward to your build thread. Cheers

What in particular where you after mate? I don't have a diagram but I can have a look at mine ('89 model) and see what goes where for you. Could even take pics and send em to you if you like. Cheers craig

No probs mate glad I could help. Anymore questions feel free to ask. Maybe check out navara.asia forum too few guys done conversions on there.

Ka24e out of a navara would be your easiest 4cyl petrol power up. I've got a d21 dual cab nav with one in it (330,000k's) and goes heaps better than my mates Z powered king cab which has had an engine rebuild with cam, weber and extractors. Pathfinder v6 is another option but a bit more involved in changing plus manual versions are hard to come by. Terrano td27t diesel is yet another and also a very involved transplant. I also have a terrano with the td27t and it Is definitely my preferred choice although I do still find the navara fun to drive. Hope this helps.

Heavy haulage truck driver, we transport lots of different stuff from earth moving machinery, cranes, general freight ,building materials, prefabricated steel structures, transportable buildings/houses,lots of oversize stuff as well as mobile crane (de)mobilisation aka counterweight transport. Stacks of different destinations from local to interstate but predominantly the north west of Western Australia to the mines. Previous jobs have been varied worked in abattoirs, market garden, tree lopper/landscaper,steel fabrication/roof plumbing, aluminium window factory hand glazier, panel beater, tow trucks, bob cat operator, furniture removalist and probably forgotten a few.

Hi dean. Just had a look at the first link where the guy put the copper breather into the top cover of the weber. I have seen dgv webers with that breather from factory on a carb that came of a ford pinto 2ltr engine. Can't remember if it was off a cortina or an escort but I suspect most likely TE or TF cortina being later and probably having more emission controls and the vent was part of it. Don't know if this helps you or not. Cheers.

Yeah thanks mate, does get a bit hot around here at times so window tint will be on the to do list for sure.
-
Ha yeah you've got a good eye. It had some ****** wheel nuts on it and when the previous owner went to get new tyres they rounded the nuts trying to get them off. The result was 2 broken studs on one side and another on the other side. I'll be replacing all of the studs and nuts just to be safe.
-
I've got a tjm winch bar to go on it, I think you'll like that one. Also got some 32" mud tyres to go on but I'll wait till it's been for it's roadworthy inspection.
-
I'll get some pics up soon. As for the navara I'll tidy up a few things, swap over some bits to the terrano and then put her up for sale.
