Not unless you have a SFD! Having those 4" allows you to reach in from the rear and remove it, without doing anything else. But definitely not gonna work on stock height.

Ya I know but can't afford to get it done right now and it's just gonna be used locally not going far. I'm aware it may not last long either. But wanna get most of this milky stuff out too. Thanks

So right now there's sealer in it for now. I'm changing the oil but what can I do to get most of the milky stuff out. I was thinking draining it refilling it with cheap oil run on it for a week and drain and refill. Any ideas

I don't mind replacing the head. I hate to have it torn a part and finding out its the block. I'm willing to bet it's the head. Thanks James. Rock auto wants 466 for a new head. If it's the head is it better to replace both?

Don't mind getting the head replaced. I was gonna see either or on head or block I wish I knew which ones cracked rather than paying someone to find out which. Best to put another motor? Said there's oil in the radiator and coolant in the oil. It's up to my sister since it's there car.

Had it looked at and said either head cracked or the block. They won't know till it's torn apart. I Just noticed the oil milky now.

I was just talking to my brother in law and he said it toOK over 20 mind for the thermostat to open up to get the water flowing. I'm just throwing that out there. I'm still gonna have a shop look at it.thanks again

Thanks for the replies that's what I'm gonna do. I took it to a 76 gas station shop to look at it and they did test the coolant for exhaust or gas and didn't find anything and they also did a pressure test and nothing. I was there when they did it too. It's hard trying to find a good shop. But looks like I'm taking it again back. I'm gonna talk to the guy who looked at it cause this isn't right. I'm losing coolant Constantly.

Seems like it's getting worst. I'm waiting for a Nissan thermostat in the mail. I'm thinking of changing the water pump.

I don't know what's going on with this truck still uses coolant and over heats still going up hill. had it looked at yesterday. They purged it. I'm thinking bad thermostat? Where would the coolant be going? Its not in the oil or transmission.

Ok so my brother in law took it in and said the oil sensor by the filter was leaking so they replaced it and said the oil was over filled by 1qt weird I only put 5. They purged it. Just have to see if the water disappear.

Yes I took the bolt off when it was cooling off when I replaced the radiator. I ran it till solid fluid was coming out. Thanks but I don't know where coolant going.

Sometimes the cap feels cold and the top radiator house soft with barely any water in it and the bottom hose feels like nothing in it. Could this be the water pump or air in the system?

I ran it till the fluid came straight out with out any air. It over heated a little sitting in the parking lot. Added coolant. Right now we just started to over heat getting on the highway pulled over the coolant looked good. To the radiator cap off felt nuked but all the fluid bursted out. Added coolant again and it's running cool. Dunno what's going on here.

so far so good on not getting hot. but im still adding coolant every few days. oil looks good and not milky. i thought it did have a blown head gasket cause the cap looks milky but the oil isnt. like i said i had it tested for a blown head gasket twice but 2 mechanics. i see no leaks dunno what else to look for.

Update I changed the radiator and clutch fan so far no temp rising. I bought a new fan clutch and I had to get longer studs to put the new fan clutch on cause the plate was thicker then the original one. Went to another part store and it was the same thickness. Weird but got it working. Has anyone ran on to that problem before?
