  1. So you are saying that if I do the aforementioned and it starts OK then it could be a fuel pump/regulator issue? Or if it does not start fine after doing the aforementioned then it could be a fuel pump/regulator issue? Thanks for the help and quick response!!
  2. I have a 2003 LE, 125,000 miles, just cleaned the battery terminals to remove a bunch of corrosion. Removed the battery leads of course and then cleaned them. I put them back on. Now when I start the car I have to give it gas. In other words, before I did this I could just turn the key and it would turn over and idle fine. Now when I turn the key without giving it gas it dies instantly. If I give it gas while starting it, it's fine, business as usual, drives fine, idles fines etc. Before I disconnected the battery and did all of this there were no problems. Also, I did connect the neg. terminal first then the pos., which if I recall is the wrong way to do it, but I can't imagine that would cause what I am dealing with. Thanks in advance for the help. This is the first problem I have ever had with the car.
  3. I have a 2003 LE with stock 17" rims, and factory 265/45/17 dueler tires. Does anyone want to trade rims/tires? Tires are 50-60% I can't find any real AT tires for the rim size, there are a few, but nothing that I like. Thought I would ask before I bought new rims. I live in South Carolina, but I am willing to make a reasonable road trip, 300mi max, who knows, maybe more if anyone is interested.
  4. I would enjoy meeting up with you guys as well. My truck is still stock (03 4x4) and my wife will have a fit if I put any scratches on it...it is nice. Anyhoo lets meet up, I am in charlotte. So do we exchange phone or email, or do we just comunicate through this board. As long as none of you guys are axe murders I have no problem giving my phone and email, I just dont want to post it here. I look forward to meeting ya'll and doing some wheelin' ! - Ty
  5. My 2003 LE 4x4 seems to have a 1/2-3/4 inch sag on the drivers side rear wheel. My driveway is not level(it is damn near level however, looks level to the naked eye, but if you put a level you will se that it is not quite), and it was sagging to the low side of the driveway. Seems that all wheels should have the same amount of distance from the ground to the wheel well, even if the driveway is not exactly level. I measured all wheels, front and back. Fronts matched hight, back was off??? I measured from the ground to the wheel well. Any one have any experience with anything like this. I do have a warranty, but it says that shock absorbers are not covered...my guess is that it wold be a spring issue. Thanks for the help.
  6. VQ's have timming chains...right?
  7. I got a 75 in a 55 on the way to pay for a 65 in a 55 in Fort Mill. Not a great day.
  8. I sure don't. JWU, good school- if your sister ever needs a taste tester let me know....I like food.
  9. Anyone know anyone in theCharlotte, NC area?? Let's go wheelin!!
  10. In NC, I pay on average 2.70-2.60 for the good stuff, 2.20-2.30 for 87.
  11. I love the sniper cat. I am sure that my cat has been ploting my wife's death ever since we got married. She will just sit and stare at my wife for hours, kind of creepy. I used 93/91 (91 to you guys out there) in my old 93 pathfinder when I lived in AZ, and it helped...that truck was anemic compared to my 03, so anything helped that old beast, awsome truck though! I hope the 03 lasts as long as that one did- 200k when I sold it and it still ran strong!
  12. Charlotte, NC (where I live) elevation is 748ft above sea level, not exactly sea level, but it aint the mountians either. Also, any one know of any places to go wheelin around me? - Thanks
  13. I am sure this has been talked about, I searched through the r50 forum and did not find anything though. What gas is best, the dealer told me 87 was OK, but in the gas tank lid it says use premium for best performance. What experience do y'all have with this? Oh, my truck is a 2003 4x4 LE. - Thanks
  14. yes they are the spiffy 17" rims, I might get different ones later but for now I like them.
  15. It just seemed like there was not anything from BFG other that the Long Trail that would fit, 265/65/17 or 245/65/17
  16. I want to stick with the stock rims. But it seems that a bfg at will not fit. Duler at's are ok, but I am really not sure. I will be doing light off roading but mostly city driving. But I do like an aggressive tire.
  17. Word, thanks man. What are some good pathfinder parts stores? (Websites) I here a lot of talk about A/C? What is that?
  18. Would this size work? 275/65HR17, or 265/65/17, I can't find any 31's or 30's with 65/17 rim size. Stock size is 245/65/17. Thanks
  19. Just bought a 2003 4x4 LE w/ 17" wheels and was wondering what is the largest size tire I can use without rubbing the wheel wells. Any help would be great.
